Hip & Butt Enhancement
My approach to Brazilian butt lift (BBL) surgery involves performing high-volume 360 liposuction on the midsection and carefully injecting fat to shape the butt and create dramatic results—in a safe manner. I believe the reason I have a high patient satisfaction rate is that there’s no cookie-cutter BBL result. I always dive in-depth during the consult to get a feel for exactly what kind of butt each patient wants. Do they want a more sloped and natural silhouette, or more of a round butt with a “shelf” on top? Heart-shaped or upside-down heart shape? Wide hips or a more athletic look? About 30-50% of the fat will reabsorb, so it’s important to keep that in mind when deciding if you want a “medium” or “large” augmentation. The bottom line: I always work really hard in the operating room to ensure the best results for my patients and will always continue to stay up on the latest techniques to keep giving reliable, enduring, safe, and fantastic results they want to show off.
Post-Pregnancy Procedures
Mommy makeovers are one of the most popular surgeries at my Chicago practice. This usually involves a breast procedure combined with a body procedure, to restore your pre-pregnancy appearance. The classic combination is breast augmentation with or without a breast lift, to raise saggy breasts or restore lost fullness, and a tummy tuck.
A tummy tuck removes excess skin and fat, while tightening overstretched abdominal muscles. It results in an impressive improvement in the abdomen and waist and usually requires at least two weeks of recovery before you’re back to a desk job.
Surgeons are often taught that if you have the slightest amount of excess skin, you should do a tummy tuck. But in many cases, I can give patients a great result with liposuction alone. I’m very comfortable doing high-volume liposuction, and I stay up on all the techniques like SAFELipo and use technology like VASER liposuction and Renuvion skin tightening to minimize the need for tummy tuck surgery.
