Adorage MD announced recently that it has the exclusive rights to 30% Arnica Gel. According  to Adorage MD, the highest strength on the market right now is 3-8% Arnica. Adorage MD's Powerful 30% Arnica Gel is formulated to treat post-procedure pain and bruises. Adorage MD has registered the formula with the FDA--it's more of a good-will measure and it's not intended to mean "FDA-approved".

The plant Arnica has been used for various medicinal purposes by Europeans and Native Americans since the 1500's, and remains a popular skincare ingredient today. Arnica often comes in cream, ointment, and liniment formulas, and is used to soothe aching muscles, heal wounds, and reduce inflammation. As such, it is commonly applied as first aid to sprains, bruises, and other forms injuries.

Adorage harnesses the medicinal functions of Arnica to help eliminate the pain and unsightly appearance of bruises and wounds that come with plastic surgery, aesthetic injections, and laser treatments. No wonder it's caught the eye of Hollywood stars who may be looking for effective post-op care for facelift, liposuction, peels, injections, and other cosmetic procedures. And it didn't hurt that Adorage MD was among the beauty swag at this year's Academy Awards. Actress Tara Reid was among the many who were spotted carrying Adorage goodie bags.

Adorage was inspired by Delphine Vouler (pictured at the left), a beautiful French actress who rose into popularity during the 60's. She brought to light the original "secret" Adorage formula that had been passed down through generations in Vouler's family.
