Many of you have already seen the recently re-designed RealSelf.com home page.  For those of you who haven't, be sure to check out our new look.  We're very excited about the updates!

Not only does our home page look better, the navigation is easier and more features are available.  Here are some highlights:

Tabbed Browsing

At the top of the page, we've now got green navigation tabs to help our community members find the most popular pages on RealSelf: Q&A with experts (that's you!), Find a doctor, and Reviews and opinions.

Automatic Answer Promotions

The Q&A with experts display in the upper right now updates automatically to show the name and profile of the participant who has most recently answered any of the three promoted questions shown. 

So, if you see "Breast implants - what are my options for implant placement?" on the home page and you respond to this question for the first time, your name and photo will automatically appear on the home page as soon as you've submitted your answer!  Talk about instant gratification.

More Consumer Questions

We've added an easy to spot "Get your answer" button to the upper right side of the Q&A with experts box, so community members can send in more questions.  We've already had a HUGE influx of new questions coming in, so be sure to check your professional dashboard daily for new Q&A opportunities.

Improved Top Participant Placement

Previously, Top Participants on RealSelf.com were displayed on the home page only by their photo, without any name recognition.  We've revamped this as well so that Top Participants not only get their photos displayed, but also their names and recent answers. 

To make room for the extra information, we did have to reduce the total number of Top Participants who can be shown at once, however we will now be rotating Top Participants more frequently through these spots to spread the home page love.
