Look like you got some sleep with Talika Eye Dream

I took the red-eye from SFO to EWR the other night and hit the ground running when I landed. I don't have to tell you how satisfying my in-flight sleep was if you know that "window or aisle" wasn't my seat selection. Throw in the air quality that makes your contacts feel like double-sided tape, and things were looking real pretty. So when I heard about Talika Eye Dream, it sounded like, well, a dream.

Then In Style mag's August '08 issue referred to Talika Eye Dream as, "An undereye mask that makes five hours of sleep look like eight!" And Style.com included Talika Eye Dream on its list of new and hot products for July.

Talika touts Eye Dream as being able to deliver a "146% regeneration of the eye contour skin". If you're thinking, "hmm, Nance, ok but what does that mean?", you're not alone. Basically, the regeneration part refers to the increase in hydration that leads to the appearance of smoothed-out fine lines and a softened look. The inclusion of lipo-dipeptide and algae extract in the Eye Dream formula are what help create the softened look and hydrated feel.

And while Talika claims its Eye Dream helps with dark circles as well, Talika doesn't report what the quantifiable improvement in them is. There isn't any mention about puffy eyes either--which is really my numero uno problemo.

Still, if you're looking for some more intense hydration during your skin's restorative sleep cycle, Talika Eye Dream may be one to try. It goes for $55 for .5 oz.
