I had two fat transfers with Dr. Bednar in Charlotte, NC I'm 5' 5'' and 124 lbs with no other breast surgeries. I breastfed 6 children and was 62 during Round 1 in July 2025 and Round 2 in January 2026. Everything went great with no complications and I am super pleased with the results. Before, I had saggy breasts and that was on an embarrassing level due to age and breastfeeding. I didn't want to have an implant with it's potential for health destroying repercussions. Round

Medical Board Issues Public Letter of Concern for Dr Bednar
WARNING ~ Dr Edward Bednar was issued a public letter of concern from the NC Medical Board concerning 5 different complaints on Feb 25, 2026 My experience with Dr Bednar was so not safe nor how any patient should be treated. The results were and still are traumatizing. Anyone looking into breast fat transfer should make sure to read reviews of patients that are more than a year out since early on things look great. **I want to preface this review because I am only a week out, and will update as I see fit. Wow! Where do I begin- this experience was amazing. I've had Dr. B on my radar for quite some time, I believe I made my initial consult phone call in July 2023. I wasn't at a place where I could go through with the surgery then, but always kept it in mind. Finally, I had everything in place by December 2024 had my consult, and was in the OR by 2/4/25! Second round - the recovery was much easier than the first
I went in for a second round and the recovery was much easier than the first. I’m only 1 month post-op but my cleavage line and volume look amazing. I haven’t measured yet but I’m guessing maybe 32DD? Love them so much and the dr office was amazing. I follow him on social media at drbednarmd and he has amazing comparison photos. The staff, doctor and experience has been 10/10 for me!

I’ve been waiting since 2016 to see Dr. Bednar, and I am not disappointed! Based off of my experience, everybody on his team was amazing, from the receptionist to the nurse, anesthetist, and Dr. Bednar. Everyone was pleasant and capable. I’m only one month post op and I notice a drastic decrease in the size of my breasts compared to postop, but that is expected. I’m hoping to retain as much fat as possible in the next two months!
