Hi,

I am a 26 year old mom of 3.. Up until my last pregnancy all was good with my skin except for slight bags i've had all of my life. Well, in the last 9 months i have lost all of my baby weight but.... now my face looks terrible, Before i got pregnant people would always think i was under age and now i feel very old. Sorry to sound as if i'm whining i am just heart broken... I am getting married in April and i don't know what i'll look like then when i can't bear to look at myself now... My upper and lower eyelids are sagging and my lower ones you can see veins through. I have like fat pockets on my lower cheeks by my mouth which have created new lines when i smile.. :(

Please help me. What can i do to fix this?? Thank you SO very much for your help in advance.

Also i have been doing facial exercises and using the Dermawand.. Do you believe these work? Or am I causing myself more damage?

Thank you again =)

I am not a doctor, but I am going through the same thing. I lost weight and look a hell of a lot older than I am.

I would suggest looking into Thermage. It is a facial tightening procedure. That would get rid of the droopiness. And then I would probably get a filler or two - I prefer juvederm to restylane (it's more maleable). You can use those around the eye area to solve your problems there. Some doctors use botox.

If you want to do it on your own Sephora has a new laser-Tanga I think it's called. It's spendy $275, but if it doesn't tighten your skin, you get a full refund.

Congratulations on your wedding and good luck with everything. Geez I feel your pain here- Katie

I would recommend volume fillers. The can get quite costly though if you need a lot to get your face back to where you want it to be.

You will want to try one of the temporary fillers first just to see if you like the results. If you search online you will find before and after pictures which will show you what a filler can do to restore volume and youth to someone's face.

After trying one of the temporary fillers (which last 3-9 months), you may want to consider fat transfer (lipotransfer, FAMI, fat grafting, autologous fat transplantation, fat transfer, microlipoinjection and probably a dozen other names). I understand that if it done right it can last several years. For some people though it may last six months (genetics or skill of doctor?).

There are several doctors who have great websites and even some that have their clients on video (sites like youtube and metacafe) explaining the procedure they have had and the journey they have taken with their procedure.

I myself have tried several different fillers and am now considering FAMI or fat grating with a Dallas doctor.

Good-luck.
