I'm 40, and 15 months ago, I had a fat transfer with PRP to my lips and under-eye area. My doctor told me to expect my recovery to look like the fat had all died/been absorbed at about 6 months, but that it would come back and to expect my final results at 12 months. However, nothing stayed in my lips and there was only a small improvement in my under-eye area. I'm wondering if I should try it again. Why might this procedure have not worked for me, and what can I learn from it?
Had facial fat transfer year ago to treat my hollow under eyes and dark circles. My right side needed more fat to get a balanced and natural end result. Thus, surgeon injected 6ml to the right side and 4ml to the left, and now even after 12 months of the procedure I don't like the result as I feel I have too much fat on my right side and in the cheekbone. This makes my right side more inflated vs. the left and there is a slight bump on the right side. Any way to reduce fat on my right side?
I am a 22y.o female. Undereye and mid face in general has always been my insecurity. I am thinking about fat transfer in my under eye area but im open to other procedures. Im also considering a brow lift. Id like to hear opinions & recommendations from plastic surgerons though. Thanks in advance !
I had an undereye fat transfer in July and my undereyes look so dark! I thought it was bruising that would go away by now but my undereyes seem to be getting more purple. Last week I had someone ask why I had a black eye! How do I get rid of the darkness? I feel even more self concious after the surgery. Im not satisfied with the results.
For the last few years I've struggled with under eye hollowness making me look much older and always tired even on those night I get 7+ hours of sleep. I eat well, hydrate, workout, and even had PRP, morpheus8 and I still look tired. I've spent quite a bit of $$$ and now want to really drill down with the experts to get the best treatment for my issue. Please advise.
I got a consultation with a doctor who told me that they'd remove the fat from my eye bags, treat the fat and then inject it into my tear troughs. I did a lot of research but haven't seen this method anywhere . I only see doctors either moving the fat during surgery from the eye bag area to the tear troughs or by taking fat from other areas of the body to inject into the tear troughs. Is this method legitimate?
