I was told that juvederm under the eyes would make my minor bags less noticable. I wasn't trying to postpone surgery or be cheap in any way. After all, I had already had lower and upper lid surgery at age 38.
Regardless of my efforts, I still had these minor bags that I was determinned to get rid of.I spoke to 3 different doctors and they all said I should get fat injections rather than take fat pads out. I was planning to get fat injections to sort of blend everything, but didn't have the time to afford much down time. It was then that my plastic surgeon suggested that I try a temporary filler to see if I liked the results before I spend the time and money to do something more lasting, such as fat. It sounded like a good idea, especially since I had great respect for my Dr. I really trusted that he knew what he was doing.
Oh well, I look so terrible after exactly 2 week that I wish I had never done this to my almost perfect self. My minimal bags are now big bulges that stick out about a half inch. The ugly bulges are now outlined with dark bruises that make them appear even bigger.
I guess I can kiss my vain self goodbye. I am feeling very humble these days as I wear sunglasses day and night. Good thing I don't have real problems. There are so many happy ugly people in the world that get along just fine. Aren't there?
