I’m trying to share my Juvederm experiences everywhere because it might help someone decide if Juvederm is for them. The Internet was invaluable in helping me make my decision so I want to return the favor!

I had Juve injected into my nasiolabial folds and also in my marionette lines around my mouth. My nurse was really kind and told me everything she was doing. I’m grateful for that. She applied numbing cream first and allowed this to set in. Then when she put the needle in she told me to "get ready" (my eyes were closed). I expected not to feel anything but the needle prick still hurt and I could feel it going in. It hurt a bit but not as bad as I had imagined since it has to go pretty deep. I didn’t really feel any of the Juve solution going in, just the needle itself.

Afterwards I was swollen for three days around my mouth but I had no swelling in my NL folds. I also didn’t bruise at all... something I owe to my wonderful nurse. I would have bruised if she had not chosen her injection spot carefully to avoid blood vessels.

I have read some horror stories online and I am lucky to have found the right place to get these procedures done. I had Botox at the same time (this combo is supposed to be the best for anti-aging) and I love the results so far. I think I look fabulous!
