Insight: Women face tremendous struggle and negative internal dialogue regarding the shape of their bodies. Along with societal influence, our image of self can become skewed and false. I had breast augmentation 12 years ago. Although it seemed the right choice at that time, the following years opened me to my truest self and the modification no longer served my life. I spent considerable time exhausting my resources in an effort to remove my implants. The research and dreaming literally spanned 5 years. It wasn't until I found Dr. Meger that I felt hope for the first time. My consultation was incredibly reassuring. The staff was warm, welcoming and quite gentle with me. There really aren't words to describe how valuable that was. After meeting Dr. Meger, I felt the last ten years of mixed emotions regarding my body float away.
