11 months Post Op
$17,000
Well, it's been 11 mos since my MM and I'm still thrilled with the results. I have put on a few pounds since the surgery but it hasn't changed much of the results just need to lean out and tone down. Dr. Meger did a great job. I don't recall if I said I went back had my Rt breast lowered in Feb. it wasn't dropping like it should have and I had my RT hip incision corrected. Just a bit of a fold sticking out. Dr. Meger took care of both issues! I love, love, love my tummy! Just take a look at my before pics and you'll know why!

6 Weeks Post Op and feeling Great!!!
Well, yesterday was my 6 weeks post op date and I'm feeling GREAT!!! Went hiking for the first time since pre-op and started my workouts again. The scars on my boobs are fading pretty well and they are starting to fall into place. The right one is still sitting a little high but in clothes they look perfect. I, especially, love that when I take off my bra, they stay in place!!!!
My TT scar is still pretty dark and some roping at the hips but I'm sure it will fade over time. I'm using Dermatix scar gel that I got from my PS. I was using Kelo-cote but the Dermatix is a stronger gel. I still wear my spanx at work and my waist cincher when I workout or do outdoor stuff.
I still haven't shopped for a bikini top but since pool weather is right around the corner here in the valley, I'm eager to get shopping!!!!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new bod...And...the spousal unit kinda digs it too! Hehehe

You look amazing!
starryeyesnc, thank you. I know I still have a way to go but if you look back at my post-op pics, you'll see how far I've already come!!! Working out like a fiend couldn't help my saggy boobs or "eagle's head" belly. Soooooo, glad to get rid of that monstrosity!
I looked at ALL your pics and am totally amazed at the transformation. Working out is not easy nor is the surgery that we put our bodies through but....if it were easy, everyone would have a hot body! At 50, with a body like that, you will make other women envious. I hope my results are just a good!
Wow!! For 6 weeks I would say u got healing down pat!! You look wonderful!!!!! Congrats!!!
Didit4me, thanks! I have to say that this site and my "mentor" ,another patient of my PS, have been instrumental in my healing process. Reading about other women's experiences, trials and challenges gave me a great road map to recovery.
You look amazing!!! So nice to see another 50 year old hot momma makeover. I was glad to read your earlier post and learn that I am not alone with the itching and rash. I was starting to think that my body was developing an allergic reaction to my compression garment. I am 6 weeks PO today, so I can finally take it off (though I think I will probably still wear it for a while longer.)
Smilingnow121214, I thought the same thing about the garment and, it's quite possible, that had something to do with it too. I still have random itching but it's nothing like it was before. I still wear my spans and waist clincher but kinda over the garment. We are well on our way to rockin' our new bods! Heal well and take a moment to enjoy each time you look in the mirror!
Do you have any recommendations on waist cinchers? I would really like to buy one but don't want to have the same kind of itching I do with my compression garment (Marena)? Open to anything that has worked well for others. Thx!
I purchased mine from Amazon. It's a latex waist cincher. I'll post some pics of me in it. When I'm not working out, I usually wear a thin tank under it so I don't sweat as much.
you look so amazing and I am now 12 days before surgery so your story is so inspiring!!
Karchiibald, thank you. It's taken a lot of research, visits with a number of PS and, of course, the money commitment but it was worth the wait. With four adult kids and only our fifth (a teenager) left in the house, it was the right time to give back to me.
Over the next few weeks you will go through a roller coaster of emotions so don't beat yourself up if you have doubts about doing this. It will all be worth it in the end. Stay healthy, take your supplements, drink lots of water and...breathe!
You are very flat and look fabulous!!! Hope you had fun hiking post op :) You're going to rock it this bikini season. Have fun in your new gorgeous bod and keep healing well :)))
Awake2014, thank you so much! It's been quite a journey coming this far and I'm not just talking about the surgery. This is has been an extremely emotional journey for me over the past 30+ years. I feel complete now!
Ya know, if you're in relatively good shape going into surgery and you listen to your PS, don't rush the healing process and let people help you the first few weeks( you'll still need some even into your first month- abs) then you'll heal beautifully. Now...I feel 50 AND FABULOUS!

One Month Post Op
Well, it's been a month since my surgery and I'm feeling better each day. I still feel like I've done a bunch of crunches but now it's only 500 rather than a thousand. It still hurts if I try and sit straight up from lying flat on my back (wrong way to get up anyhow - curl up on your side then swing your legs over), when I sneeze or cough. My breasts are still sitting pretty high but I wear my breast band as often as I can and make sure I do my manipulations several times a day (even when I'm sitting at my work desk). I still get very itchy through my torso and have some rashy spots. I've been using hydrocortisone cream for the non-surgical areas and use aloe vera lotion to keep moist.
My incisions are starting to flatten out and are lightening up. I'm olive skinned and there are still some dark areas where the surgical tape was taped to my skin but my scars tend to lighten up pretty well over time.
I added some pics in some clothes to show how well I'm looking in some sexy and sporty undergarms. NEVER would have worn the lacy stuff pre-op. In fact, I've had the white lacy two-piece bra and panty set for over ten years and when I wore it for my hubby, he thought I just bought it! lol
Okay, that's it for now...

Oh, I forgot to add that I'm still wearing my latex waist cincher, spanx or surgical girdle every day. And...unfortunately, I've still been instructed to hold off on any type of exercise for another two weeks (6 weeks post-op). Even though I feel great, my PS and his staff keep telling me to hold off. It will help keep the swelling down and will allow more healing for my incisions (external as well as internal). *Sigh*, guess I will try and be a good patient and listen to their words of wisdom. Oh, and I'm using Kelo-cote on my incisions as well as Arnica for my lipo areas (they are still a bit hard in some areas).
You look great! Healing super nicely!! I am still scared to do the try on phase cuZ of all my swelling so it's nice to see ladies who are at the same mark & able to do so. Encouraging :) how are u liking the Kelo cote?? I seen that stuff online & wondered about it. I've got some
Hard spots too from
Lipo. Been aggressively massaging them with oils. Anyways keep healing smoothly!
WOW! You look fabulous!!!!!!! Love the lingerie, love your hourglass, love your flat tummy and even though those tatas are still riding high, they promise to look delicious when they drop and fluff. Bikini season will be HOT!!!!!!!!!
