Juvederm was worth it: Love it!!!!!

What a great experience. I quit smoking 20 years ago, but still managed to develop one of those, "I drink a pint of bourbon in a bag a day," looks. There is one particular wrinkle that radiates out from my top left lip...and it is NOT attractive.

I decided to have it filled, and called a place I had seen advertised in a local Reader. They had a really good price, and the doctor did the injection, so I figured, why not? I dragged my best friend with me for moral support (I suggest you bring one a little less snarky than mine,) and after a glass of wine and ten minutes under a barrage of questions, the Doc was ready to go.

He numbed me up with cream, then filled in my ugly wrinkle first. It was unbelievable. This was November, and here we are in March and it is still looking great! I decided to go ahead and do a little lip plumping while I was there...and I could not be more pleased. I was adamant that there would be consequences for duck lips. Even under threat of defamation, he spent an hour on me and my lips that day, answering a deluge of questions from both of us. I walked out looking like a million bucks.

My friend went back to get plumped...and recently we were back again for a touch-up plump, and she got some botox for her nasty crows feet. She should bring a less-snarky friend as well. The doctor is not a dermatologist, and was up front about it. His work is better than anyones I have seen. I am going to get some photos and post them soon. I would, and will, do this again and again. I may even go over to the dark side and Botox a nasty wrinkle between my eyebrows. I will let you know how it goes...
