As the founder of RealSelf.com I've made it my personal mission to make it easier for a non-expert to navigate the vast world of beauty, wellness, and "anti-aging" products, services, and information. I firmly believe we're on the right path here and I would love to see you contribute your comments and stories to RealSelf. After all, RealSelf is about your needs and those of the other readers, not myself or our team.

Truth be told, RealSelf has become my form of anti-aging, even if has meant a bit more stress and coffee in my life. Among the benefits I've come to realize from this new venture, a few standout:

  • more control over my personal time. My 1.5 hour commute has gone to zilch. Instead I get to ride my bike each day along one of the world's most beautiful ports.
  • spending time with those who inspire me. I am incredibly fortunate to have a great team who introduced me to concept that work can be FUN.
  • making a difference.  I've long donated to organizations dedicated to changing people's lives.  RealSelf has given me the wonderful opportunity to make differences in people's lives for really important decisions.  There are countless examples of how helping someone get better informed has pointed them in a better direction
