Hello, I had Lasik 6 years ago; it went perfectly. I had 20/20 vision with the only problem of double vision when driving at night. Since the last 7 months, I have been needing glasses again for distance, with a measurement of -1 in both eyes. I've had myopia since I was 8 years old. When I had the surgery, I had -6.5 in my right eye and -5.5 in my left, and a little astigmatism. I am only 36, so I'm afraid of losing more of my vision. Could I get LASIK twice, and when should I do it?
My lasik surgery was about 4 months ago. One month ago, the optometrist cleared me to stop using eye drops. Today, the vision in my right eye became blurry. When I blinked, it seemed as if I was blinking over a scar, or something was in my eye. What is happening to me?
I am 5 days post LASIK surgery for monovision. During the surgery, the flap on my distance eye broke suction. I have already had 2 follow up appointments and am reading at 20/20. The flap has attached itself perfectly, but I am now unable to see distance. Anything across the room is completely blurry. I cannot see street signs until I am right next to them. I can't even see the license plate of the vehicle right in front of me. I have not tried driving at night.
I got Contura Lasik 5 weeks. ago and the first 3 weeks. Was awesome. Then I started seeing glares blurred vision definitely not 20/20 and can't see at night. And it's getting worse by the day! I can't even drive anymore. Is this normal and what should I do? I am not going back to the same doctor for sure.
I have done my lasik surgery 28 days ago. My left eye vision is ok but in the right there is some blurriness. After 12 days i have checked my vision left one was 6/6 but in right there is blurring and it's .75. Doctor says to me it will become clear with time but it's still not clear as there are 4 weeks has done so will it be correct with time or not?
My original prescription was around -6 with some astigmatism. In the morning I see quite good (not perfect, something about -0.5 I guess). Then, after 30 minutes to one hour everything gets blurry till the rest of the day. I can't drive during the day. In the evening I have difficulty even with walking outside. Using smartphone or laptop is really difficult. I already had two checks with my surgeon(day and week after). Everything was fine they say. I use my eye lubricant frequently.
Im 27, and 3 weeks post op. My right eye was swollen and bruised after lasik. My vision seems stable in this eye and does not fluctuate with water consumption or drops like my left eye does. I also can not feel the drops in my eye which leads me to believe I have nerve damage. Will this heal with time, or has the swelling left my lasik blurred? I was nearsighted with a prescription of -3.25 in both eyes. Now left is 20/20 (fluctuates) and my right is 20/25 with blurred reading and distance.
Had lasik surgery 31 days ago My vision on both eyes is still some what blurry.. but once I put in eye drops for dryness vision becomes crystal clear but only temporarily 15 seconds. My question is When will I get to see clear like when I put in eye drops ? Did my surgery go well since I see very clear with drops even tho only for couple of seconds ? Or if its just the fluid fooling me into seeing clear.
I had LASIK monovision surgery 6 days ago. My eyesight keeps fluctuating, but seems worse each day rather than better. One day I can see up close or at a distance and the next day I can't without blurred vision. I am healing and vision is stabilizing, however is it normal for vision to be just right and then change again? I did have one follow up visit and was told everything looks good.
