Will I eventually loose the fat from previous fat transfer?
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)If you have a good result at 8 months you are likely to keep that result for many years, unless you loose a lot of weight. Pregnancy may also change the breast.
Some fat resorbs after a fat transfer procedure, however you are beyond the time that this may happen.

Why don't more surgeons offer scarless arm lifts?

The scars are made to remove the excess skin present so the more skin that is present, and the more laxity in the skin, the longer the scar needs to be.

Tummy tuck after hernia repair. Will the fact that I have mesh disqualify me from having a tummy tuck?
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)A tummy tuck is a possibility after a hernia repair with mesh. You will need a good physical exam at a consultation, and possibly some imaging, depending on the findings of the physical exam. A copy of the operative record from the hernia repair would be helpful as well. This can normally be obtained from the surgeon's office who did the repair, however given it is 15 years ago, may no longer be available.

Facelift nerves. What are the chances of it causing my to have a droopy lip?
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)It is possible that a facelift will cause a droopy lip, and if it does happen, it normally resolves with time. It is not a common complication.
Having had a droopy lift after facetite does not increase your risk of having a droopy lip again.

BDSM/nipple clamps after breast augmentation - how long do I need to wait?
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)I agree with your physician - wait 2 weeks minimum and start slowly from there - you are 3 weeks so you can begin slowly and progress as tolerated, however, if your incision is around your areola I recommend waiting for 6 weeks.

Is it normal for someone over 80yo to have arm lift?
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)An arm lift can be completed at any age, provided the patient is in good health. If you are in good health, it is worth going in for a consult. A surgeon will go over your health with you at a consult and let you know if there are serious concerns about you having an anesthetic or healing well from the surgery.

Saline flush for small bump of superficial filler on lower lip? (Photos)
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)Hyalase can provide you with an accurate treatment. You will need an expert injector to do this precisely. I do not recommend flushing the bump with saline as this will not eliminate the bump. Poling it out with a needle is also not an effective treatment.

Would I benefit most from a neck lift or chin liposuction?
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)I expect you to get a very good result from liposuction of the area and you won't need a lift with that. In your age group and with the photos you are showing, your skin will bounce back without needing a lift.
The other two options to treat this area are Coolsculpting or Kybella. Coolscultping will take a few sessions and must be done by an expert with experience treating this area. Kybella will also take a few treatments and may not be as thorough as liposuction. In my practice, we offer all three treatments. As a surgeon, my favorite treatment for this problem is liposuction as it can be done in one treatment and works so well when done by a surgeon with experience and in a patient like you who is suitable for the procedure.

Can anything be done to permanently treat crow's feet?
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)Great question - it would be wonderful to eliminate the lines permanently if it could be done, however it can't be done.
The reason is that the lines are mostly from contraction of the underlying muscles. The muscles can be weakened with Botox or other neuromodulators to reduce the lines. Using the right dose in the correct area regularly can really help. These medications usually need to be repeated 3-4 times per year.
If you have permanent lines as well as lines from muscle movement, they can be helped with laser treatments, and this can be done at or around the time of upper eyelid surgery, however as you mentioned, you will have to be careful about this due to your skin type and the redness that occurs.

Steroid injections for tummy tuck scar caused burst blood vessels & atrophy, what can I do? (Photos)
Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)I agree, you have a hypertrophic scar - it is red and raised and still very immature. It will take a lot of time to settle down. I would not recommend more steroid injections given what you describe.
Scars take 1 - 3 years to mature, particularly with your fair skin type, and so there is still lots of time for it to improve.
I recommend massaging the scar for 3-5 minutes daily, or twice daily if you can, by rubbing lotion into it. As the scar gets less and less tender, you can be more vigorous with this. Massaging the scar will increase the blood supply to the scar and help the overabundance to collagen in the scar to lay flat as it matures. I also recommend wearing a silicone scar pad. This will put constant pressure on the scar and take the redness away and help flatten the scar. A silicone scar pad can be worn all day, and may need paper tape to hold it in place so it doesn't fall off. The more you wear it, the more effective it is, however, those with fair skin like yours often need to build up the hours you wear it for, as your skin might be sensitive to it in the beginning. In our office we prefer the Cica-care brand as it is nice and thick, however there are many brands on the market.

The transformation is truly remarkable
I recently underwent a tummy tuck procedure with Dr de Kleer at Oakville Plastic Surgery. I hesitated for years, always waiting for the right time which as you know turns into never! The consultation process was efficient, staff took the time to answer all my questions. Dr. De Kleer is amazing! She did a breast life and augmentation, I swear she has magic fairy fingers! The entire process was amazing from start to finish. My procedure went perfect and my healing process was easy. I only needed extra strength Tylenol for 4 days and was back to normal daily routine after a week. Even her anesthesia is superior I usually wake up super nauseous and I had none of that I felt great waking up. I will be forever grateful for her kindness throughout the whole process.

From my initial consultation to my 8 week follow up post surgery, I have had the best experience. Dr DeKleer listened to my concerns, explained what she could do and made me feel valued personally when she called me the evening of my surgery to check in on me and answer any questions or concerns my family had. Her associates, Karen, Kim and Dorothy continued to assist me at each appointment with any questions or concerns I had. Teaching me to heal better and set realistic expectations was key to this entire process. I can’t put into words how much I value and highly recommend this group of women for your journey of being a better version of you!

Dr De kleer and her entire staff are wonderful. She was very kind and thorough during my consultation and answered all of my questions without any judgement or pressure to proceed with a procedure. My preopp appointment was with nurse Karen and I cannot express in words how fantastic she was. She explained every step in a completely “human” way and supported each one of my concerns. She is also the scrub nurse who held my hand and smiled at me as I went under. This review does not do justice to how wonderful a nurse she is. Dr De kleer and nurse Karen are a dream team and I would hands down recommend them for any surgical procedure. (The results are also fabulous - she is a highly talented surgeon). I had a tummy tuck a few days ago by Dr Nancy DeKleer From the consultation to the procedure it was amazing! What a wonderful staff she has I found it very organized and everything went as smoothly as it possibly could. I was very nervous going into the operation and every team member made me feel very comfortable and well taken care of. I can’t say enough about the way they work so well together.
