I had the remains of a broken tooth removed that had a previous root canal/crown. At the time of extraction, a bone graft was done in preparation for an implant. I am worried that I have either dry socket or a failed bone graft as the pain is still here & the membrane and sutures that were placed fell out on day two (operation was performed just prior to the weekend). Is it a given that the bone graft failed? I have pain & you can see the grafting material is showing. It is my upper left eyetooth.
