Alternatives to breast reduction/lift surgery?

You can reduce the breast size with minimal incisions using liposuction techniques.   The main challenge with this is that it doesn't lift the breast much and doesn't help with any redundant skin.  You could try some non-invasive methods to tighten the skin but it would be very limited compared to a traditional breast reduction/lift.I would recommend visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area as they can discuss with you some ways to minimize the appearance of the scars after surgery.

Thank you for your question.  Many women suffer from large breasts and other than weight loss there is no reliable method to reduce the size of your breasts.  Breast reduction surgery has one of the highest patient satisfaction scores.  I have yet to have a patient who did not feel and look better after breast reduction.  Start with a face to face consultation with a plastic surgeon who has experience in breast reductions.  They will perform a detailed history and physical and examination and can educate you on expectations.   Breast reduction scars usually heal quite well.  Certainly no one can promise no scars but for most patients the trade-off is worth it.  Always seek a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.  Good luck.

Breast reduction/lift is a great procedure to give you smaller, perkier breast.  Depending on your breast shape (extent of sagging), liposuction may be an option.  Please consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to see which type of breast reduction may be needed to give you the best outcome.In regards to your past scarring, talk with your plastic surgeon.  Depending on the location and how the surgery was performed and how the scar was managed, scars can be improved.  Best wishes.
