Is it possible to have surgery to remove dark circles under my eyes?

FAT TRANSFERS ARE USUALLY SURGICALLY DONE WITH LIPO AND TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER AREA OF THE BODY. A FAT TRANSFER CAN ALSO BE DONE THROUGH A LOCAL AFTER SURGERY FOR A REPEAT FAT INJECTION. Dear Luke, It seem from your photos that you have orbital fat pushing forward into the lower eyelid space. Although this usually occurs with age, in certain families it can appear early in life. The best option would be to remove or reposition the fat in this area through a transconjunctival approach which hides the incision inside the lower eyelid.Seek out an Oculoplastic Surgeon in your area. I hope this was helpful.

You have a few different options. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under eye circles. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. Thank you for your question.  The treatment for under eye dark circles depends on the cause.  Based on your photo, there is herniation of the lower eyelid fat causing your condition.  Definitive treatment is a lower eyelid blepharoplasty, which is the surgical removal or repositioning of the fat.  In certain cases, the fat, and the subsequent shadows/ dark circles, can be camouflaged with conservative use of dermal fillers.  See a specialist to learn more and best wishes.  

It sounds as if you are wanting more permanent results.  You can consider lower blepharoplasty surgery which will remove excess fat and redeposit remaining fat revealing a smoother under eye area.  Visit with an experienced surgeon in your area to learn more.

So dark circles under your eyes can run in families, especially when you see them in younger patients such as yourself. Treatment can try to correct things in two different ways. One way is the traditional surgical tightening of your lower lids called a lower lid blepharoplasty. This is quite an undertaking and rare but not unheard of in someone your age. The other option which is one i might favour in you is to fill the junction between your lower lids and your cheek where the empty dark circles are. The cause is important when you choose the best management. It appears your cheek pads have fallen which exposes the orbital rim and makes any fullness of the lower eyelid more apparent. The darkness is related to these issues and the thinness of the skin. By raising the cheekpad and blending it into the lower lid you will improve the area significantly. 

Your dark circles are due to shadows and highlights  from the significant tear troughs (depressions medially). They are easily treated by injection of either Juvederm Voluma, Radiesse or fat. In someone your age, I prefer fat as it, once taken, is permanent. Make sure you see an expert injector with significant experience in both off the shelf fillers and fat.
