Do I have lines or dents on my forehead? Are they easily fixable? (photos)

Our office has many different treatments for scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Fractional Thulium laser and clear & brilliant can also reduce the inflammation and redness of the scar when combined with topical therapy. Fractional lasers such as Fraxel, erbium, and CO2 laser can be combined with radio frequency and also fractional RF to improve textual issues and microtopography. Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. Above all, our combination approach with our clinical nurses and board-certified plastic surgeons can improve the quality of your skin by using at home Melarase creams combined with PRP treatments in our office to improve your skin quality and tone. Neuromodulators (such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau) and soft tissue fillers like Belotero can improve the appearance of the forehead by reducing lines, wrinkles and folds. Deeper lines and wrinkles need a combination approach with Botox, fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP. Hi @xprincess! I recommend Botox into the forehead region. Botox injections block certain chemical signals from nerves, mostly signals that cause muscles to contract. Botox temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes. I also recommend microneedling for collagen formation and skin texture! I hope this was helpful.

Hi! Thank you for your question about forehead lines and possible treatment options. I would suggest a combination of microneedling and Botox to these areas. Microneedling will help address these fine lines and Botox will help smoothen them and prevent further ones. I would suggest 3 consecutive microneedling treatments 4-6 weeks apart. Make sure to space out the Botox and microneedling by about 4 weeks.

Hi there and thank you for your question! The wrinkling of your skin in the forehead area could be due to how your muscles pull in your forehead. If this is the case, treating the area with botox would relax your frontalis muscle and create a smoother appearance. Other procedures or products won't do much for the area if it is due to your muscle pull - we would have to evaluate the area in person to give you the best recommendation. Hope this helps!
