I Plan on getting a mommy makeover with a tummy tuck, breast lift and implants in the fall of 2016. I tore a ligament in my knee that temporarily is preventing me from being active. I am now about 25lbs heavier than I normally am but would like to choose a cosmetic surgeon soon. Should I wait until my injury has fully healed and I've lost the excess weight to start setting up and attending consults? Or can I start now and still get a good idea of what's needed while I have the extra weight?
I went for a consultation for a mommy makeover, and I overheard the plastic surgeon say I had grade three ptosis. I'm a dentist, and if a patient has class three mobility of teeth, that makes for an easy extraction, but more involved implant placement. I was just curious if the specific classification makes for an easier or more involved surgery, and an easier or more complex recovery and/or result?
I want a full tummy tuck and breast reduction. The breast reduction will be covered by my insurance. How much would these procedures cost me ? I am in excellent health . Should I look for a plastic surgeon with in my residential area due to post op.
I am getting the mommy makeover - breast lift with implants, abdominalplasty including muscle repair on Jan 12/ 2016. I am wondering if I will be well enough to go on a 5 night 6 day hike through the West Coast Trail by August 2016. My concern is that I will be carrying a very heavy packback with all my gear and I'm not sure that it will be safe or if I will still be tender/ painful. I'd love to do it! But I am also ok with waiting until the next year if that makes more sense for my recovery.
I'm doing a MM with TT, BL/BA. I decided against lipo, because I felt I didn't REALLY need it and it kind of freaks me out. I didn't want to over complicate my surgery, too. I don't really have weight on my lower back/hips. Will it look weird?
Im interested in mommmy makeover, but have also met with a scoliosis surgeon for correction of aTreatment for the scoliosis would be considered cosmetic- to treat one shoulder slight higher and ribcage deformity (and prevent curve progression). I know it likely makes the most sense to do the scoliosis surgery first, but the recovery is significantly longer with restrictions for 6 months (and I have small kids at home). Would it be okay to do the mommy makeover before scoliosis surgery given it isnt a huge curve, and for me the recovery will be easier with small kids.
Hello Doctors out there! I am scheduled to have an a Lipo-tummy tuck, a breast lift (NO implants,) and a rhinoplasty. The rhinoplasty is to remove dorsal hump and fix drooping tip. My procedure is set to take five hours and 45 minutes, or at least that is the time booked. The doctor has wonderful reviews online and amazing before and after pictures. However, I am getting nervous now that my procedure is less than a month away. I am going to be under twilight anesthesia, which is what I prefer. But I am getting afraid of having anesthesia toxicity or worse. I think Im just having anxiety, but I was just wondering if it is possible to do all these procedures under six hours ? Is my surgeon being ambitious? Or if he thinks that he can do it under six hours, should I just trust his judgment? Like I said, I already paid for the procedure and this doctor is highly recommended via real self, and his before, and after pictures are amazing. Please let me know your thoughts.
I am a mother of two with a sagging stomach when I bend at the waist. When standing, it's not saggy - just an excess layer of loose fat beneath the skin that I cannot work off with exercise. If considering a tummy tuck & breast augmentation, which of these surgeries should be done first and which second to get the best overall results? I do have very young children, and therefore think it would be best to break up the surgeries so I can have a more manageable recovery period and manage them.
I live in New York and the Doctor I want to consult with is in Orlando. I do not want to make several flights. I am breast feeding my fourth child and I am in dire need of a Mommy makeover: Breast Augmentation, Tummy Tuck etc.How long do I need to stop nursing to consult and have surgery? I want to combine procedures. Is a virtual consultation an option? On a side note I just had EVLT done today on some veins in my legs. Will that effect how long I need to wait? Thank you in advance.
Chronic stuffy nose, can I use Afrin the morning of mommy makeover surgery? I'm having general anesthesia and it's a 6 1/2 hr sx, I'm scared I'll wake up and not be able to breathe. My doc and the hospital didn't seem too bothered by my meds and taking them that morning. What is your opinion?
