Feeling a little more positive

I feel a little bad for blasting the doc last post - but it’s part of the process I guess. I wanted to post better pics of my arms and inner thighs healing. I love them! They still have some healing - pretty lumpy and hard - but I can tell they are on track and are already looking way better than before the surgery. I LOVE not having my thighs rub together OMG. I put my jeans on and they fit still, except NO muffin top and a nice little thigh gap. I feel so confident in pants and shirts for the first time in my life. I’m definitely still concerned with a few spots though. Mostly my left hip which continues to stay dented. My masseuse couldn’t tell me if it’s over lipo or scar tissue holding it in. So I’ll have to ask the doc. The ‘bad looking side’ is compounded by not enough lipo on my waist on that same side, so there is a pooch out right above the dent, and he completely missed the little fatty pooch under my belly button (you can see it never bruised and you can grab it, you can’t grab anywhere else on my torso he did a good job of getting almost all of it) so when I sit, instead of it being flat, it creases which further accentuates the dent. I was disappointed trying on some of my summer dresses because it is noticeable under those. I’m really hopeful though Hazani will have a solution for me. The thought of possible more surgery makes me want to cry LOL. Im still sore but can do a little more every day and the bruising is almost gone! I can reach the floor finally if I go really slow lol. My hips look like they’re dropping a little too which is great. Hopefully I’ll continue to get a more round shape from behind. Not so square. My post op is in 6 days, next update then.

I like my arms and thighs so far. Don’t know wtf he did to my left hip tho.You can go back and see it looked AWFUL right after the surgery before swelling or scarring set in so I feel like it’s a mistake and not something that ‘needs time to heal’. I have my next appt on the 9th. I’ll probably update then. I have so much scar tissue in my body, it literally feels like my body is petrifying! I’ve had 2 massages and got this rolly torture device I use to try and break it up for 45 mins every night so that I can have some mobility the next day. If I move wrong or too fast it feels like something is gonna tear. If I try to reach for the floor it feels like my back will rip. Did anyone else feel this way??? My masseuse was concerned about all the scar tissue which want reassuring. Apparently my body is a complete wuss! UG. I’ve been crying myself to sleep every other night after staring at this crater in my hip. I can’t believe this is how it looks after $13000! I really hope it can get fixed or will go away somehow.

Hi, I understand exactly what you’re going through. I had my procedure on 5/30. It was the liposuction on upper/lower abs, waist and hips in addition to the Trisculpt Ex. After my one week, I was in pain, mad because they didn’t tell me about this long tummy tuck looking scar and pissed about spending $12k to look the same! I worked me swollen self up so much that at my 1 wk, I had a complete breakdown crying fit and almost fainted. I expected to see some difference given all I went through. I then was so stressed, got shingles.
Went to my 1 month today, totally calm, still swollen with some lumps. It will get better, we just have to trust the process, eat right, wear the compression, drink water and continue your lymphatic massages. We’ll follow our progress.

Omg that’s awful!!! We can really be our own worst enemies sometimes can’t we? I’m so sorry. Do you feel like things are improving after a month now? They say that’s so early still. And I’m only at 2 weeks! I know I shouldn’t be freaking out but it’s so scary seeing your body look so wacky in some areas right? Especially when other areas seem on track for healing properly. I’ll follow your recovery too. I wish you all the best!

How are you feeling now tha a couple weeks have passed?

A little better. I just posted an update with more pics. I went out and got all dressed up for the first couple of times this weekend which was a confidence booster. I swelled up like a balloon and was pretty sore after lol but I look a lot better in most of my clothes after the surgery which is very exciting. I might have to get my side touched up though which makes me sad. But overall so far I’m happy I got the surgery.

Just a bit of encouragement....( I’ve also had fat transfer to fix hollows on the outside of my thighs left from an aggressive lipo) And your body is going to keep changing as you heal. You will shrink and smooth out a lot. Swelling causes distortion and also fluids fall and collect in weird areas. But I can certainly relate to your frustration and anxiety. It’s hard to go through that wait-and-see process. It sure is!
Hopefully soon enough you will start to see the results you wanted!

Keep us posted! Your legs and arms look GREAT! Almost makes me wanna go get that done!
