Lower Body Lift with Dr. Stoker, he is the best Doctor
real self posted the wrong review to my post
Lower Body Lift with the Best Doctor
I have wanted a breast augmentation for years. I kept telling myself that they’ll grow on their own eventually. Well, I turned 29 and nothing. So I started to do research for months and months, asking around and posting on Facebook groups for the best surgeon. I must have looked into 20+ surgeons but was immediately interested in Dr. Reish more-so than other surgeons. First of all, his consultations were free! Unheard of!! Let’s be real, that’s a big deal when other surgeons want up to $500 for just a few moments of their virtual time. The gesture and courtesy is so appreciated! A little customer service goes SUCH a long way.
At first, like others I’m sure, I wondered if it was free because he was going to be less qualified. Absolutely not! He is Harvard trained and his Instagram before and after photos truly speak for themselves. He primarily is a Nose God (truly) performing perfect rhinoplasties left and right. But I meticulously searched through all his breast augmentation before and after photos and I was sold that I would trust him to do this for me. By far, his after photos had the MOST NATURAL looking results that truly suited the patient’s body. I did the free consultation on FaceTime in July which was only a few minutes and he explained exactly what he would do for me to get the result I wanted. I felt comfortable with him and knew that if I would decide on this surgery, he would be the one to do it. I spent months thinking on it, making sure I truly wanted to do this and for the right reasons. I never felt pressure from him or his office to make a decision or to go ahead with it. I came to that decision on my own and eventually booked it for December. From then on, it was truly smooth sailing.
I had my pre-op appointment virtually with Dr. Reish (which was short and sweet), I sent over medical clearance from my PCP, I had my meds sent over to my pharmacy in advance, I got a Covid swab at their office a few days before the surgery. The night before my surgery, the anesthesiologist called me and let me know about when I should stop eating and drinking. I came in the next day (so nervous) and I had plenty of time to change into the patient gown, etc. Plenty of time to speak thoroughly with the nurse and was given implants of different sizes to put into a surgical bra to see which I liked better. After agonizing over it and not being able to decide between 215cc and 235cc, I just figured I would trust Dr. Reish and let him tell me what he thinks. He decided 215cc was best for my frame, didn’t even hesitate, and he seemed very confident, so I trusted that he knows best.
Anyway, getting set up in the operating room was no issue, and I was made to feel very comfortable. Since I am giving you the real and honest details, I will tell you I definitely woke up with more pain than I was mentally prepared for. I definitely remember shedding a few tears. The nurses were super kind though, they gave me extra strength Tylenol right away and helped me to get dressed slowly and wheeled me out to the car and helped me get in the passenger seat. I was loopy and in a lot of pain but I remember their kind words. The first night was definitely pretty rough, took me a few hours to fall asleep and in an upright position because I couldn’t do anything else. I STRONGLY recommend having someone with you that will help you with everything the first day!! But every day after kept getting better and better and the pain became much more manageable pretty quickly. The medications definitely helped. The most difficult thing for me personally was sleeping only on my back for a week because it made my back so sore. By day 5, I was taking pain medication more for my back than my chest!
I am writing this review on day 7 after my post-op appointment and I haven’t taken the strong pain meds at all in a couple of days now. Post-op appointment went well, he was totally right about going with the 215cc. Rachel Rubin (the PA) came to take a look and answer my questions as did Dr. Reish. I got to ask everything I was concerned about and they made me feel confident about my healing! By the way, Rachel was also very kind and reassuring and I didn’t feel rushed.
This was a super long review, but I hope it helps someone else out there feel confident in going through with their breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Reish and his team. They are all really kind, professional, and outstanding. If I could do it all over again, I would choose him as my surgeon again! And if I ever have any other future cosmetic surgeries or procedures, I will most definitely be going back to him. And already recommended him to a friend!!
