Ultimate Breast Lift - California

UPDATED FROM SDR

Revised scars by Dr. David Marcus

SDR
WORTH IT$8,900
I went in on May 4th. Dr. Marcus did the revision surgery under local, so he could have me move and make sure they looked right. I am very pleased with the results. Minor brusing from the surgery.

i am also 3 years out from the "ultimate breast lift". I too will have to have yet another surgery (this will be the 4th). I will be using a different Dr as well. I had a lot of complications and infections after the UBL with Dr H. You look a lot better! best wishes to you!

I too would like to have scar revision surgery, Im not sure if I should use Dr H or go somewhere else. Do you already have a different doctor picked out?

I went to Dr. David Marcus in Santa Rosa, CA. He did a great job.

dr h will never touch me again! I found a new dr. After the initial surgery , a one hour surgery while awake with him cutting & sewing on me & another surgery under general to "clean out" infection & still left with HORRIBLE scars & results .. The shape is horrible & Im several sizes smaller .. Please Remember that I did not want a reduction!

I too would like to have scar revision surgery, Im not sure if I should use Dr H or go somewhere else. Did the doctor you used charge a lot more since he didn't do the original surgery?

It was $3000 for the revision surgery.
When I went to Dr. H he didn't charge, but had to do it again anyway.

It's been 3years since my surgery. I am attaching updated pictures. For the most part I am still happy with the lift. I don't like the shape and the "dog ears" on the inside and outside of the breast. I am looking into getting them revised at a different doctor. I would like a more rounded shape to my breast. Because of the scarring I don't like wearing certain swimsuits or low cut tops.

In addition I am considering getting implants. I like the size of my breast, but would love more volume. I would love some advice from other women who have had implants.

Thank you so much for the follow up pics. Also for sharing the information. It bothers me that you have to see another dr. to get your breasts the way you want them. I would think that Dr. Horndeski would not be pleased with these results, especially if YOU are not happy. I was considering using him but after seeing some of the results of his work I might not be unhappy with the vertical scarring. Your breasts look very nice with the exception of the scarring. Thank you again for sharing.

Honestly, his technique is amazing for the lift. If he could prefect the closing method, it would be great!

Your shape is great indeed. I plan on going for explant/ubl this August.

Good luck! You will love them. Talk to him about how he closes you up and minimize the "puckering" that's what caused my "dog ears" now.

Thanks for providing such a long term view of your surgery and afterward. Sorry about your scars but I do think your boobs look overall very good.

Thank you for posting new pics! Was there a reason why you did not get your dog ears taken care of when you had previous revision with Dr. H?

I feel your breasts although slightly drooping looked much nicer pre op than they do now. sorry for the honesty but every result of this type of lift from this doctor confirms my thoughts that this method is not full proof. Also I have to say and wonder if other ladies agree that almost every breast lift or reduction surgery looks much the same. There is no individuality to the breasts. Every nipple and aerola looks the same, and because if this I wonder if I want to pursue a lift and reduction myself.

I got my scars fixed and am very happy. Will post updated photos.

I am still very happy with my lift. I am able to wear shirts and dresses I could never wear before because I needed a bra.

I went back last week to get my scars fixed, they were thick due to my infection. I still have bandages on, but it looks much better and I know it will heal better this time.

Shape of these breast look odd to me. They look like two buns on your chest n they are a little flat from the sides. No scar sounds nice but I like the look of the breasts from a traditional lift. I think this technique needs to be perfected yet

Are you considering a lift of some type @Meaganmeagan? We'd love for you to post a pre op review if you are. Sounds like this breast lift technique might not be for you, but do keep in mind that this member is very happy with her results.

She looks great and NATURAL Meagan you're an idiot!!

Wow, normally I wouldn't comment on another poster's comment, but 'negatively' commenting on the aesthetics of a post surgical patient in the context of how the appearance is to you is counter to the whole spirit of this website. We post on our experiences, concerns, etc, both positive and negative, but remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is sycophantic at best to criticize someone for the color of their hair. Everyone wants something different from their procedures, whether it be to reduce scarring, change shape, or work within their budget, but I agree with the community manager that negative criticism doesn't have a place in a public forum. If the aesthetic isn't for you, then by all means move on. There are innumerable surgeons in this world, and a plethora of surgical techniques. We don't all start out with the same raw materials and don't all want to look the same.

Sophomoric at best.. autocorrect. **soapbox moment off**

Can you post current pics? And how much did the scar revision cost? Di he do it? I am thinking about going to Dr. Horndeski, but am concerned about the operation length time. How long did your procedure take? Mine will likely take longer since I have below the muscle silicone implants for him to remove.
