Dr. Derby did a fantastic job in all aspects of the my breast reduction. As with most people, I was very concerned about the entire process. While it seemed scary, daunting and unknown, Dr. Derby took the time to address each of my concerns in a patient and understanding matter. He always made me feel at ease regardless of my question or concern. Throughout the process, Dr. Derby and his team guided me, coached me and helped me feel calm. Having spent months researching doctors and centers, I knew the work Dr. Derby could do and he lived up to it. On the day of the procedure, every nurse and doctor was ready to perform and gave me personal service with an experienced hand. Dr. Derby again took the time to explain the procedure and checked and rechecked with me the specifics of the reduction. He was calmly confident throughout. I was assigned a primary nurse who was with me from the beginning until I woke up and was able to leave the clinic. The procedure seemed instantaneous as I dozed off and was then waking up post-op. The first few days I felt a bit groggy, which was expected and explained by Dr. Derby. He followed up to make sure everything was going well and by my first in-office follow up I could see everything was healing beautifully. I’m at 8 weeks since the procedure now and I am elated and overjoyed with my results.
