I lost 85 pounds just over a year ago (YAY ME!). Sadly, the weight loss caused my face to sag terribly. I reached a point where I could not look in the mirror without seeing an old had staring back at me. I felt great (better than ever), but HATED my reflection. I looked into traveling outside the country to get a facelift that was well done as well as reasonably priced. The more research I did, the more concerned I became about leaving the country. I wanted my doctor to be someone I could access in the event of complication. I reached out to a "Book of Faces" group to find a great surgeon in the southeast US. One of Dr. Feagins previous patients reached out to me and shared her before and afters and her experience. After talking with her, I was able to locate another person who had used Dr. Feagin who was pleased with her results, so I booked an appointment for a consultation. Dr. Feagin was very forthcoming about what I could (and could not) expect from a face lift, and I felt very comfortable with the consultation. I then decided to book a date. Que Dr. Feagins nurse/scheduler, Whitney. She was extremely helpful, always available to answer questions and one of the most genuine people I've had the pleasure to work with. Dothan, AL is about 2 hours from my home, so I booked a hotel room for 3 nights (1 night before surgery and 2 nights after). I went in the morning of surgery, Dr. Feagin came in to answer any last-minute questions and mark up my face. After walking into the OR, I was given IV sedation, and knew nothing else until I woke up with my face bandaged. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with my results. Dr. Feagin and his team were all professional, caring, and personable. And my results speak for themselves. I feel like myself again. I scheduled a consultation, armed with pages of questions. Dr. Feagin and his staff were friendly courteous and helpful, and I left the consultation feeling confident. I scheduled my surgery for November. I can't say enough good things about my experience and my results. I DID NOT want the wind-tunnel fake look you too often see on someone who's had 'work done'. I wanted to see myself (just a refreshed version) when I looked in the mirror. I had a lower face lift, neck lift brow lift and fat transfer. All went extremely smoothly. Dr. Feagin and his team have been with me every step of the way. I ask a LOT of questions, and don't hesitate to call if I have one. They have never once made me feel like I was interrupting and being a bother. His scheduler/nurse Whitney is the best. And my results speak for themselves.
