Five (5) Weeks Post Op

Feeling Sassy
WORTH IT$6,400
I'm posting a few pics since its now five weeks post op. I'm feeling fantastic. I have experienced zero...nada complications from the surgeries. I have not experienced any sad or down days others have mentioned feeling. I do hope others who have felt these "blues" are now on a better road. I have not felt a moment's regret of having the Biltmore Lift. Dr. H is truly an artist. I am so happy. I'm not doing anything special in regards to healing beyond applying my gel tape constantly on my incisions with the exception for when I take a few pics. After the pics...gel tape immediately reapplied!! I am ecstatic to report I have enjoyed so many compliments from people who have no idea of the work I've had done. I get compliments such as, "I look pretty", "I must be sleeping better" (PTSD...NO!), "things must be going great in my life cause I look so less stressed or tired". Makes me wonder what people thought I looked like pre Dr. H! LOL! I'm going with the ignorance is bliss ideology. I can truthfully say the surgery & my recovery has been a cakewalk. I thought I was six weeks post op till today. The only time I have realized a slightly odd feeling re:ears is when I put on a pair of earrings yesterday. I didn't feel any pain. I guess I must still have some slight numbness at my earlobes. I had no problems putting on my earrings & promptly forgot I had them on. It was a strange feeling of no feeling!! I do not feel any numbness any other places. Once in awhile depending on how I move my neck I can feel a very slight tightening feeling. It's not uncomfortable. I still have a very slight swelling on one part of my neck & its directly under the incision. Honestly, if I didn't look at my pics I would have never noticed the slight swelling & this is after looking in the mirror everyday. Maybe I'm studying my pics more intensively than I do looking at my face everyday in the mirror. I truthfully forget at times I had this wonderful, amazing, kick-butt procedure performed. I am so glad I decided to have the upper bleph done at the same time. No dry eyes...no bleary vision. I'm posting one side pic of my face & I can barely see the incision at the corner of my eye. I'm happy to report the incisions around my hairline are practically invisible. I refuse to stop wearing the gel strips on these areas though. I will caution to please remember to wear a big hat when sitting on your patio like I do everyday. I tan very easy for a fair hair & fair skin person. I've noticed my arms are tanning. I just purchased some organic sunblock & intend to apply allover. If you look at my pics you will see the discoloration on my neck. It's pretty easy to see I religiously used sunblock on my face & upper neck for the past 28 yrs but forgot to reapply to my lower neck when sweating or swimming. I'm pointing this out so no one thinks Dr. H did anything wrong etc. It's all on me & again the reason why I'm going with chemical peels. These pics were taken in different lightening. I am so pleased with Dr. H & his work. I will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering this procedure. The second best part of the Biltmore Lift is the fact I still look like me! THANK YOU DR. HARLEY!

Hi Sassy. That's truly great news about your recovery. Really amazing that you healed so well without any complications. Look forward to seeing your pics when you post them. I have a couple of questions.. did you take any supplements pre & post surgery or did you do anything else that you think may have aided your recovery time? And do you know how long recovery time is after a chemical peel. I would love to get this done at same time as the lift but not sure if it's a good idea as we will be holidaying around the US 8 days after procedure.

Hey there! I don't see any pictures??? I am glad you are doing great with no complications. I am doing awesome except for the bleph issues.
Going to see optometrist in a week, though some of the dryness has let up. Still not closing eyes when I sleep. Glad you have had a magical and perfect experience. For those who have your same perfection, they won't need to read anything but this review. You didn't need any stress after this year, this I know!

I feel wonderful & pleased to notice bruising & swelling on one side almost gone in matter of days! I'm posting these mainly because I've had sev comments regarding my proposed chemical peel (s). Warning nada makeup & bright sunlight! Its all good though because I think it might show clearer "pic" of why I say me & Dr H have more work. I refuse to come this far & just stop without addressing skin discolorations (thank you Sun-NOT!!). Also I will admit when I wear makeup I look lije a different woman. But my usual day is no makeup except when I attend military balls & I do seem to go to my share, etc., where Im in full-on formal attire. But who can live life like a soap opera where they wake up in full makeup!! Not me!! No way Im going to allow Dr H's beautiful work be spoiled by my sad looking skin.

Did you have Juviderm done to your lips or were you just blessed with full lips? I will be in that chair in 5 weeks for a neck and lower bleph. Thinking about TCA peel at the same time. Not sure if that's more trauma then I want to have at one time.

Hi no Juverderm or any type filler in face. Yes I was blessed with lips! One of the few things I Iiked pre op about my face!

I know exactly what you're thinking! I only had upper bleth with Biltmore lift. I wish I had done chemical peel at same time but only thought to ask on suture day removal

Your lift results are fantastic, I would love to see what you decide to do with your skin, I also need Dr. Harley's Biltmore Lift and skin work as well. I just bought a series of pixel laser treatments hoping that will improve old acne scars, discolorations and texture. What are you going to try for your skin? Whatever it is, you have a beautiful new foundation to work with.

I had the HALO laser 2 weeks ago - two people told me I was "glowing" - and I am wearing 1/4 of the make-up I used to (and I had to wear full coverage). Takes away sun damage - uneven skin tone - it's not for wrinkles or blemishes

I had a HALO laser between Xmas & New Years & I loved the results. I'm going to do it again this fall.
