I have wanted to repair my bulbous appearing nose...
I have wanted to repair my bulbous appearing nose since I was a teenager. Though not a feature which necessarily caused comments to come my way, I always felt it to be not only enlarged, but it was definitely deviated to one side as well secondary to a deviated septum. My face caused much of my insecurity growing up.
Why I waited till now; well, it required the financial ability and the desire outweighing the concerns of the surgical outcome.
After much research here in the Las Vegas area, I found Dr. Christopher Khorsandi. He had the most positive reviews of all of the Plastic Surgeons here in the area, thus giving me the reason to want to drive the 25 miles or so to meet him in the office. His office staff, both Cecilia and Catherine were wonderful, and made me feel very much at home. My wait times were non-existent, having been welcomed as expected per my appointed time.
After having worked in hospitals with Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Hospitalists, and Private Practice Physicians for more than 20 years, I have been well acquainted with what can be promised and what can actually be delivered for some time now. I felt very secure that Dr. Khorsandi would do his utmost to deliver on the 3-D images he took of me prior to our surgical appointment that would occur within 2 weeks of my first visit. Though I still had concerns if he could present me with the appearance that was transformed on his large screen of my face, I still felt that if anyone would provide me with the shape of nose I wanted and saw, it would be Dr. Khorsandi. Let's just say that my well-tuned intuition spurred me to have the confidence to go forward with him.
I am now one and a half weeks post-op, with the only visible notion that surgery was performed on me is a slight residual shiner that is rapidly disappearing under my right eye and some residual swelling which I was advised would take some time to resolve. Even so, I have had compliments from everyone; from family and friends. But, most of all, the biggest compliment is when I look at myself in the mirror. I see the me that I have always wanted to see. Dr. Khorsandi is an artist. He paints you a picture on a video screen, and then, he delivers what he says!!!!
Let's be realistic, it is your face that is presented to anyone who looks at you, and thus, that is your most sensitive feature. If you decide to proceed with a Rhinoplasty to transform how you look and feel about yourself, think no further; Dr. Khorsandi is your man.
