To anyone reading this, pls don’t get an implant

RatuTargaryen
$12,500
I have arm numbness, chest and shoulder pain shortly after I got the implants.
I can’t even stretch my arms without feeling pain.
Nerve regeneration pain is horrid. I can’t go about my daily routine. It’s debilitating.
I’m having my explant in just 2 months after my initial procedure.
I would have given anything to undo the procedure.
Love ur self as the healthy u, not someone with feeling like death with boobs.
ITS NOT WORTH UR HEALTH, MONEY, TIME, AND ALL THE PAIN.
remember, these are not life time devices, and u have to get MRI every 2 years so the silicon doesn’t rapture and poison u.

I’m sorry you’re feeling disappointed I hope you get better soon! It must be draining for you but rmbr you’re trying your best now! It will get better ! Everybody reacts to this surgery very different. I’m 6 weeks post op and I don’t feel any nerves pain it’s weird for me too. I went under muscle with areaola incision, so far boobs area still feeling numb entirely.

How does the breast look for you now? You’re probably the only one I can find here that’s flat chested before and only go for mini ,I was completely flat and I went 360mini. And honestly I only like them look with shirts on, while naked, they look very round on me :/

I removed the implant two months after the initial augmentation and couldn’t be happier. I could sleep so much more comfortable , on my side and back. I could work out better and there’s no more numbness and pain on my left side. I have my life back. I was having constant nerve pain and it was unbearable.

I feel relieved that I don’t have to worry about silicon leakage, and breast implant illness.

Day 15-18 post op (skin nerve issue)

RatuTargaryen
I talked to the PS today, went for a check up. he said that entering post op week 3-5, the nerves on the skin will start to regenerate and reconnect, nerves are like electric cables stretched really thin on your boobs, and trying to repair.
This is why my boobs are so damn painful, I couldn't sleep right for three straight days. Unfortunately I'm the most sensitive case he's ever had. Patients are either on the dull side or hyper sensitive side. The pain was throbbing so much! Especially on the left side, cuz it's the narrower side. I was on the verge of breaking down due to lack of sleep. I asked if my body was rejecting the implant and he said rejection would be hardening around the implant.
Current Solution by PS:
1. Back to bandages instead of special bra (see pic), this is to limit motion of boobs.
2. Take double dosage of complex B vitamins (morning and noon, not at night cuz it could keep u up), and B12. This is to repair the nerves faster.
3. Limit stretching on the left side, the more painful side.
4. Go for walks and limit range of motion.
5. Eat well (fresh greens, anti oxidant Whole Foods)
He said the shooting and throbbing pain should mitigate within 3 weeks. For those who have textured surface implants, it's going to hurt even more.
I'm so glad to have my bf by my side, I was freaking out the whole time and he has been supportive every step along the way.

Aw bless you, it must be hard to be in that much pain, I hope it gets better soon and if it's any consolation they are looking great so far :) x

Im sorry you are in so much pain! I'm happy you have answers as to why now though. Keep your head up and let trust that your body is having to accommodate the implants! This will only be temporary until they settle

Hi Ratu. I'm now 7 weeks post op, under muscle. I'm still not 100% recovered. I heard it could take 3 to 4 months. On the reviews and videos they make it look so easy. I hope by now you are feeling better.

Pain is tolerable due to meds, but has been a pain to able to move freely.
I am still unsure about having done this procedure, so many doubts and uncertainties.

Im sorry you are having such a difficult time. I went over the muscle too but the under boob incision. The first few days were definitely challenging because I'm also very active and couldn't do anything! However it does get better. What medications does your surgeon have you on? I had the tingling sensation like you and the gabapentin I was prescribed by my surgeon for nerve pain really helped

Hi ! My PS told me to double up dosage of complex vitamin B and add B12 for nerve repair. Apparently on week 3-5 of post of is the nerve repair on the skin. He said I was super sensitive, the worst he's seen. I'm back to bandages instead of the bra they had me on.
