You look amazing & they look so natural!!! What a talented PS you have ;)
How are you feeling at 5 weeks - still sore at this point?

Lol yes we sure do!!!. I'm a huge Kolker fan!!!
Physically i feel great, really have zero aches n pains now. My nipples might be a little bit more sensitive than before, but almost there.
I'm still a little "blue"... But i think I'm just tired of the whole bra thing all day, every day. My clothes are limited because of my neck lines on a lot of my out fits. I will be really happy when i can wear normal bras. My scars are pretty itchy, so have to keep cream on them at all times, which hopefully will help with scarring/fading too.
They told me i could wear regular bras next week, so i am counting the days.
Work just happened to get extremely stressful at the same time as my surgery so timing was kinda lousy. But, all in all, i have honestly had an awesome experience.

You're looking pretty damn great yourself Mia!!. Seems things are healing wonderfully for you now that those pesky drains are out!.

I'm just curious what other changes i can expect now.... That has me a little perplexed....lol

I'm glad to hear that at 5 weeks you no longer have aches & pains!! You give me hope!! LOL
I think I'm starting to get some feeling back in my nipples now - I get these crazy sharp pains and sometimes if I brush against one, it hurts like hell! I'm hoping this means things are starting to go back to normal!!
I'm totally with you about your wardrobe - you have to see me trying to figure out what outfit to iron every night, because I have to find things that cover the damn Knockout - very frustrating!! I also give you tons of credit for wearing it 24/7 - I average about 12 hours a day. By the time I get back home from work at night, I feel like there are razor blades in there & I have to rip it off to put on a more comfortable sports bra.
Has Dr. Kolker had you start scar treatment yet? I'm eager to start that as soon as he gives me the ok...
I would imagine at this point that visually there probably won't be many changes for you. Maybe just a bit more softening up? I'm sure Dr. Kolker will discuss with you during your next post-op :-)
Happy to hear from you my friend - so glad to see that you're doing well!! xo

Thanks Mia. Yes, the shooting pains have stopped all together for me now too. I had the hyper sensitive nipples, and even just the skin itself. Like nerves healing...drove me crazy and I couldn't let anything touch them. But now, that has almost completely subsided. It's funny, I find I take my bra off just before I leave the office some nights and take the drive home to be "free"...lol there is just too many people in my house (lots of teen boys...lol) and I can't be without something at home, it's just too noticeable.
I've been diligent with the knockout, but it hasn't "bothered" me the way it has you. I only have the two small incisions in the crease, and they have actually never hurt at all (wow!), so that part was never an issue. I have gone to the 32 size band now as things were healing nicely.
Isn't the wardrobe thing wonderful?? Covering this up is making me nuts. I tried different Knockouts too, because the purple reflective one cut closer to my neck, but the grey one seems to be a little "wider"...lol. The things we do!!
Jillian told me she would tell me about silicone strips for the scarring at week 6. But to start putting cocoa butter so I do that twice a day, and then I also got a "scar" reducing oil that you apply twice a day as well. They make me a little nervous, as it's funny how they looked smaller when I had the steri strips still on them. They are still "red", not loving that, but it's going to take a long time for that to go away. They seem to look "thin" though so hoping when they do heal and fade they will hide nicely.
I haven't had another post-op which makes me a little nervous, except that I have had literally zero issues, so I guess this is all good - at least according to Jillian. I have kept her up to date on pics and things and she says everything is wonderful too. I just don't understand the "softening" or "fluffing" part, and I don't think they can "drop" any more or they would just look weird? Now, I have always had kind of perky and firm boobs, so these really aren't any different to that. Which I suppose is good too.
We really did pick our PS well!!! :) Research sure paid off I'm thinking. ;)

I actually went back to VS and tried on the 36D (sister size) but the band was so big on me that it bulked out by my armpits and it felt like there was 0 support since it was so loose, so I didn't bother to get it - I'm sticking with the 34DD, but I hate it lol
Did Jillian recommend the scar reducing oil that you're using? I'm sure they'll fade just fine - it's a matter of giving them time to do so :)
I'm sure there aren't many more changes that you'll go through (if any). You're looking really good, so I can't imagine that there is much left for them to have to do lol
We sure did pick well girl - no complaints from my end either!! :-)

Feeling Big Blues.... :(

User Avatar
JustMeSmiling
Starting to feel major blues. Are they healing okay? Do they look natural? Are they just looking tight and swollen? I thought they were looking good. And no more swelling and no more pain. I was feeling really confident.

I shared a picture of part of my breast with a very close friend...and reaction was - Oh, look they are still so tight and healing. I thought they weren't tight? I thought this was how they are going to stay? Now are they just going to end up looking like fake balls on my chest? Where everyone who seems them will think - oh look she had a boob job. I thought they were going to look natural and now, now I'm not so sure.

Feeling really sad today. I have one more week left with the knockout bra, and I can't wait to get it off. I need to feel more like me again. This part seems to be getting me down. They are always being held inside a captive double bra and pressed to my body. 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I let them free maybe an hour or so a day, but that's it.

I was heading to a topless beach in not this weekend, but next, and now I'm doubting I should go. If they actually look "tight and healing" then they are ready to be out on a topless beach. :(

Ugh....blues hit hard. I'm hoping it will pass.......

Don't let the comment from your friend get you down. Your boobs are gorgeous!!!! Maybe you should show her how some breasts look after getting implants. You can find some bad ones on here for sure!!! Look like fake balls on their chests. I showed my friends your boobs (that sounds really funny I know! Hahahah) they were impressed how natural they looked. This was before my surgery I was like look at my Ps work! He is amazing. Don't be sad. They look awesome you will rock that topless beach!!!!!

Thanks crisvow..... No one except on here has seen them, so I guess having shown the first person, and then to have that kind of reaction... really hit me hard. :(

omg, there is nth to worry about, it takes up to a year for implants to settle! Hopefully my reimplantation is at the end of March. I am ready to look crazy until the end of 2016 though!
happy settling to you!!!

You don't look crazy now! I am likely as i hope to go somewhere between 375-425, I am 5.6, currently113 lbs with a narrow rib cage. Cosidering how little time has passed, you look amazing though they will be evolving further!
An average person doesn't understand how some processes work.
Ther is nothing you should be upset by, skip her comment , that's it.

I promise you she doesn't know what she's talking about!! You do not look fake - your results look very natural! Please keep in mind that you are only a month out and although that feels like a very long time to us, it isn't at all - things can take quite a bit more time to fully settle, but you are already looking fabulous for so early on. What picture did you show your friend?? The pics that you have put up on the site do not look high & tight?
I'm with you on the Knockout, but I don't wear it anywhere near as much as you do - it's simply too uncomfortable to me. After a number of hours, I'm just in too much pain. The longest I have ever worn it for one day is 12 hours - and that only happened once. Usually I only keep it on somewhere between 7-10 hours before I can't take it anymore! I tried the 36D this past weekend, but the band was so big on me that there was no support, so I didn't buy it. When this one becomes too much to bear, I take it off and put on a more comfortable sports bra. Dr. K says that's fine as long as I'm supported. Why don't you give them a call if it's bothering you and see what they say?
Please feel better my friend & cheer up - I'm telling you, they look perfect!! :) xo

I appreciate the feedback Mia, thank you. I guess just normal blues....and worry. Tired of taking so long, and scars scare me. I'm having my own little private pitty party now. I'm tired of seeing them in a tight sports bra. I just want to put on normal bras and feel pretty again. I can't wait half of my clothes because my straps show at my neck, so my wardrobe sucks right now too. No one at home will understand why I would be teary. I think the emotions are taking a bit of a toll on me.
on a good note, the tingling doesn't tingle any more, my nipples feel exactly like they used to before the surgery, and perk up the same way they used to. Maybe I'm just over tired.
My father has left his wife after 25 years, (that's a good thing by the way), and moved back to Canada - to live with my brother and me sometimes......So I had him the last few days. Plus I have 3 teen kids, one of which has his own apartment in the basement, so there are teens in and out of my house constantly. 18-22 year olds. then my crazy commute to work 1-1/2 each way. I think everything is just wearing me down, and my friends comment just hit a switch....making everything seem downhill. Thanks for listening to my whoa-is-me pity party.

I totally get it - I said to my husband this weekend that I'm just over it all already! I'm sick of being sore & in pain, my mobility isn't back to 100%, I still have numb nipples, I drove this weekend for the 1st time and it did NOT go well, etc...I'm just over it all and want to go back to normal already! Unfortunately, this is a long and slow process - I mean, I just wanted nice boobs - I didn't want to wait 6 months before I could friggin enjoy them!! LOL
You have a lot going on - it's all bound to take it's toll on you, perfectly normal. Your friend might be a little bit jealous - I wouldn't let her get to you :) and soon you'll be able to wear your pretty bras and you'll be back to normal :)
November 16, 2015

Your breasts are gorgeous! You're only one month out, they will get softer. I noticed that the "tightness" subsided (first surgery) at 8 weeks post op. You have a beautiful result and they will only get better and better. No where close to looking like two fake balls on your chest.

If I saw you on a topless beach my jaw would hit the floor .. Perfect!!!
