Dr. Duran ruined my stomach and arms!
Dr. Duran has ruined my stomach and arms! I had my surgery performed in February of 2016 when I was in my early 20s young and desperately chasing a curvy "ideal" body type. If you are wondering why I am choosing to write this review now in 2018 it is because I just received a revision liposuction November of 2018 (this month) with a board certified plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. I paid $10,500 plus (hotel, meds, flight etc) and I am currently in recovery as we speak now. I also want to mention the $10,000 plus I spent in 2017 for a Liposuction revision for my arms alone which resulted in minor improvement. Duran at this point has cost me well over $20,000 in revision surgery and I have all the proof. Duran has cost me a lot not only financially but she cost me a lot emotionally. I am drained mentally from multiple surgeries and recovering from my revision procedure. Liposuction revision is not a simple procedure but a extremely complex one that may need multiple revision surgeries and you will never look how you would if it was just done right the first time. Duran failed to do it correctly the first time and this is why am here years later. Duran left me with severe indentation, waviness, bumpiness all over my stomach and arms. Usually I see doctors perform Liposuction under the arms but Duran performed Liposuction on the inside of my arms which caused severe deformations.
I was Duran's 3rd plastic surgery patient that day in Feb 2016. She performed a BBL, Tummy tuck, BA right before performing a bbl procedure on me. How would I know this? This other patient was my roommate in the recovery house. Was Dr. Duran exhausted before performing my surgery? I don't know, but I hope that was the only reason she ruined my body after surgery and not her lack of skill.
I did not see Duran for any post op care since she left to Miami on vacation after my procedure. I was a number on what felt like a conveyor belt. I was rushed through my consultation, rushed through my X-rays/physical, rushed through my surgery. Duran at the time may have not spoken more than a few words of English and did not have a translator during our consultation I wasn't even sure if she knew exactly what I was hoping to get out of surgery.
I will say my silhouette is nice under clothing and my butt has came out with no irregularities but my stomach and arms are ruined ... possibly forever. I constantly get compliments on my body but what no one knows what my body looks like under my clothing . I live with a constant secret and shame. I I am happy to say I lived to tell the story… not everyone who had surgery at Cipla can say the same. Be careful.

I was reviewed by an actual board Certified revision specialist in Beverly Hills (check out my page) and I can assure you this is a botched job and too much fat was removed, hence the reason for my revision . Please do not spread your ignorance across this site or on my specific situation before you have all the details. Have a good day and best of luck to you

If you look closely to some of Durans before and Afters you can see a bit of irregularities in some patients. No doctor is perfect and although that may not look like Durans work unfortunately it is . Of course you wouldn't see this on her Instagram page as her best work.

I've contacted over a dozen girls and every single one of them is happy with the results. I contacted them because my surgery is on December and I wanted to know. The only person I had a few lumps with somebody who never followed through with her massages. The longer you wait to get these massages the harder the bumps are to get out . A lot of people have is pretty on the disproportionate bodies to begin with and Duran makes miracles happen

Good luck. I hope everything goes well for you. Do a little more research on botched lipo and how massages have nothing to do with it. I had massage therapy ( lymphatic massage) and ultrasound therapy for about 6 months after surgery. You can't massage out an indent

Besides all doctors board certified in that field do not agree with massages after surgery because it can futher damage underlying tissues and blood vessels, I agree with her, massages do not get rid of indents, I applaud you for sharing your story and I am glad you will be staying in the US for your revision

BotchedBird you have been so sweet and patient with all the doubters. You have provided plenty of proof. The doctor herself has never disputed the validity of the fact that you are her patient! Botched results happen. And sometimes we never post a review but just move on looking for a new doc to fix our botched results. Brave people like you really do us a service in sharing your experience. All of us want to believe we will never be botched but it can and does happen and it is not our fault. Sometimes it is bad plastic surgery, sometimes it is just the way we healed. But I just want to give you props for sharing your story. I think bad results can happen to any doctor and any patient. I am not a doctor but I have seen doctors answering questions about results similar to yours and they often refer to liposuction that was done too close to the skin that resulted in scarring. I am right there with you in terms of not being too happy w some of my surgical outcomes. I wish you luck and hope the next one brings you some success! Hugs!!
