Tattoo almost gone after three sessions

UPDATED FROM Nick02

Five weeks after the fourth treatment

WORTH IT
This image was taken five - six weeks after the fourth treatment. The enlighten laser breaks up the pigment in your skin and it takes a bit of time for it to disperse. A huge thanks to Dr Mohan at Revere.

This image was taken after the fourth treatment. You can see it's very faded, but we still have a bit to go. As the treatments progress (and there is less pigment to remove) each session becomes less painful. I've now stopped asking for numbing cream because it's unnecessary.

Penultimate session with Dr Sach Mohan

I had the penultimate session with Dr Mohan yesterday - using the enlighten laser.

The treatment lasted around two minutes and I didn't bother having numbing cream. As you can see from the picture there is some swelling and a small amount of blistering, but it's not uncomfortable. It will now take around 30 days for the shattered pigment to naturally grow out of my skin.

After the initial pigment blasting Dr Mohan used the laser to put microscopic holes in my skin - this is a new technique that helps the pigment leave the skin.

It's working for me. I'm having the enlighten laser treatments. The skin does swell afterwards and it then takes about a month for the pigment to grow out. You need around five treatments to get rid of the tattoo.
