Tray 36

WORTH IT$8,000
The dentist removed all of my attachments yesterday. I'll be wearing tray 36-38 for 7 days each, which is way shorter than the original allocated time of 10 days/2 weeks per set. I just hope that there won't be any refinement trays after this, since there are still two small gaps in my bottom row.

Removal of attachments in 2 weeks

Pictures on the right are taken post invisalign/during the first tray. Pictures on the left are taken during Tray #32. I am on Tray #35 currently and the two gaps in my lower jaw are still unclosed. I am removing my attachments in two weeks' time and I have 4 more trays till the end of the treatment. I worry that I may need refinement trays, seeing that my front teeth are still slightly protruded and there are still gaps in my lower row. Ah well, let's see how it goes. I'm very satisfied with the results that I have so far.

Your teeth are looking amazing so far! I think I have a similar case in that I have large buck teeth with overbite...I also had to have two premolars removed to alleviate the crowding and overjet. Did you have to use elastics for your case?

Thank you. :) I didn't use elastics, but i do have an overwhelming number of attachments.

Long-overdue update

It took 7-8 months for my tooth extraction gaps to close up almost completely. My front teeth have also rotated straight at last. I am on my 19th tray and the results are finally showing. I am very happy with how my teeth is turning out.

Invisilign has gradually blended into my life. I'm used to bringing a brushing kit everywhere I go and I've never misplaced my trays. The excessive brushing and flossing greatly improves my dental hygiene.

The huge extraction gaps that I had are being closed seamlessly, showing that the plastic trays have the strength to move teeth really well(Contrary to popular beliefs). Find a good orthodontist with a lot of experience and you're in safe hands.
