just hit 2 month post op mark. I am still wearing compression all the time. When I take compression off my body still feels odd. still some sore spots and odd sensations
Been back at the gym for a month now. But have not done any full ab work at the gym, i am so afraid to mess anything up. But am running and doing weights and some core

Some days i still feel swollen and other days i feel and look nice and small.

I still have one area that has not contuoured ( its small) so hoping Doc can address that at 3 month appt. And i have one small bruise on my side that wont go away, its tiny

I have had a hell of a time buying a smaller compression garment. I bought and returned 3 off amazon and then finally just kept the 4th one.
At the gym i wear my latex waist trainer, can be found on amazon

Went back to the gym today, my endurance is still there but have to work back up my strenght and power and running.
I wore my latex waist trainer during my 1 hour work out for compression. During the actual work out i wasnt in too much discomfort, just have the itchy feeling from healing. however once home and i took off my waist trainer i felt a lot of discomfort. I looked a lot smaller, but then the normal swelling came back.
I am so tired of being swollen and sore to the touch. Parts of me still feel detached and odd to the touch and still having trouble sleeping as i swell up a lot during the night
My faja fits but is not tight tight , so not sure if i should buy a smaller one

It's more like numb area and discomfort after the 4 week mark..the pain pain was the worst first 2 weeks and then pain cut in half week 3 and 4..am.just hitting week 6

Ugh! How frustrating. Seems like one step forward and one step back. What are you eating? Perhaps cut out as much carb and sodium for a few days? My doctor really emphasized eating low carb and avoiding salty foods to help with swelling. She says carbs and salt love water and will latch and hold on to it. Hang in there...I know they say 6 months for full recovery so hopefully it will all be worth it!

doing my best to avoid sodium / salt but its in almost everything LOL i dont even drink soda or juice. it is very frustrating. just started back at the gym yesterday wearing my latex waist trainer during my 1 hour work out for compression..some say working out will make you swell and some says it helps with swelling...who knows...in the end we are all different

Well I don’t think working out will make it any worse in the long run. Perhaps in the short run, worse swelling though. At least you are staying active. I think that plus positive mindset is best you can do at this point!

How are you feeling? Better than last week? What waist trainer are you using at the gym?
