Venus Viva Not for Everyone

skinmarks
This is a review for Venus viva and thought I should get it out there....
I am a 40ish year old woman of indian, chinese mixed heritage that look naturally younger than my age. I am shades of brown depending on the season and my outdoor activity.
I did the venus viva on my breast for my stretch marks that I have had since I was 13 yrs. I was originally supposed to try it on my face but thought it wise to try it elsewhere first! They said this VV is good for all skin types and colours and with minimal down time. The pictures will show what it looked like for at least two weeks. I did it on 20th August and it’s now the 19th September and the marks are faint but still there... I can only pray it does fade soon. The stretch marks are of course still there but it does seem softer. The procedure did not hurt, it did not really scab up. The cosmetic office is in Berlin Germany and part of a respectable and efficient Dermatologist office. But they could do nothing ... they blamed my brown skin and told me to have patience after giving me steriod cream.

I had an allergic reaction but it was bc I did the treatment before a small rash had completely healed. They were supposed to do your skin on low setting. You should ask the person what setting they had it on. Hopefully they will be honest. For darker pigments you have to do the lowest setting.

Oh! Good to know ... she did put it to a high setting cuz I could tolerate the discomfort. Stretch marks are softer but the pigmentations are still slowly fading

I am curious as I have had the same thing happen - have the dark marks from the treatment subsided? Thanks!

I'd say someone cranked the RF up far too high for the skin type they were working on. It's sooo not worth the risk.
