After consulting 4 other doctors I knew my search was over when I met Dr. Gutowski. His bedside manners were impeccable, he asked the right questions, was realistic with me, and kept me informed the whole time. I knew my case wouldn't be easy because I have a pre-existing condition that causes Chronic Anemia. For my story to be a success I needed a PS who excels at what he does, and 4 weeks post-op I can confirm he is that PS. He tailored a plan specific to me given my pre-existing condition to ensure I had a successful and safe surgery. Thanks to my chronic disease and all my past health issues, my body has been through hell and back. This surgery was my way of rewarding it for being resilient. I could never attain this body on my own thanks to my chronic disease, so I knew it would have to be via plastic surgery. So after graduating college and paying off my student loans I set out to get the body of my dreams. Finding the best PS is half the battle, but once you do it's all worth it in the end. Now clothes fit better; I even wore a swimsuit for the first time yesterday no worries. My confidence is the highest it's ever been, and I just got accepted to my Masters program. I can't ever thank Dr. Gutowski enough for his amazing work; for putting my health and safety first, and for turning a body that's been torn down by sickle cell anemia into a walking work of art.
