Quick Update

I it's been awhile since I checked in and I just wanted to say that I'm feeling pretty good I still have the training on my left side I'm still sticking somewhat close to my bed when I start feeling tired my husband has been great through the whole process finally had a great bowel movement since my surgery the laxative and stool softner that he gives you really helps I've stopped taking the pain pills so that probably has helped me have a bowel movement as well today was my first day back at work which I had to do propped up in the bed I'm not yet ready to sit up all day at my desk at my computer so I just grab my laptop and position my posture Pedic bed up where I can sit and work. I go for my second follow up visit this Wednesday which hopefully this train will come out both of my abdominal binders already look so worn out from the stretching and pulling on them there also pure evil lol. they are so uncomfortable to sleep in and they crawl up your waist which is very uncomfortable especially if you're still swollen and you're constantly trying to pull them down so I'll have to talk with Dr Soto about things I can do to help
relieve the discomfort. well I will check in later this week after my follow up appointment everyone take care and have a great week!

It's Time!

I am here and waiting to go into surgery! Dr.Soto was running a little behind so he treated me to an hour long facial that was sooooooooo relaxing! How nice and thoughtful of him. I know this is a short post but wanted to check in before I went the OR. Peace love and blessings to all of you?Talk to you shortly!

T minus 2 days and counting! Yikes!

Welp it's almost time. I have started taking my Bromelain and Arnica that is in my prep kit yesterday. My husband took me to Bed Bath and Beyond and bought four new pillows. I'm going to buy some soup and chicken broth along with lite non dairy snacks. I was told to bring a few items for my overnight stay in case I get hungry in the middle of the night and want something to eat and the stores are closed, and to take before my doses of pain medicine. I sat up last nite looking at you tube videos of surgeons performing tummy tuck procedures and laughing at some of the comments people posted. Wow! I'm ready to do this and really appreciate the time my manager has granted me to be off. It helps that I work from home too. I also appreciate the opportunity to share my journey with everyone else and the encouragement I continue to receive on this site? Peace love and blessings to all! I will follow up shortly.
