Daniel Barrett, MD

I genuinely believe there is no surgeon that could’ve given me as good as results as Dr. Daniel Barrett. I got a breast augmentation from him January 8, 2026 and I just hit nine weeks postop today. I went to about five other consultations from various doctors primarily in California and a couple in Miami, but as soon as I talk to Dr. Barrett, I booked my surgery with him that week. I had been looking around in heavily weighing my choices, mostly because I’m a very anxious person, and I had a bit of a difficult case when it came to my boobs. My boobs were extremely wide set and I had a little bit of what they would call tubular breasts. I was afraid that if I got a breast augmentation and they just put implants in, it would exasperate my wide set boobs, and I would just have larger boobs that sat to the side, which was not the reason I wanted to get a breast augmentation. I wanted to get a breast augmentation to only fix that problem and add a little bit more volume. I started with a round a B cup and I would say I’m on the small D cup side, which is exactly what I wanted. I’m 5’10, 160 pounds and I play D1 soccer so I’m extremely athletic as well as in a contact sport. This is another aspect I had to weigh the pros and cons. My entire life I had not even wanted to take off my shirt in front of my teammates or my boyfriend boyfriends and I just struggled with my self-esteem and that regards so much, however due to sports and the timing not working out as well as the fear that I wouldn’t be able to go back to a high level of athletics I pushed it off. It was ultimately my parents that talked to me through the possibility that I could get a breast augmentation during my off-season because of how much it was affecting my mental health. I have been thinking about this since I was 13 years old and I am 21 now, but I was just so scared to get surgery, especially plastic surgery of any kind—one due to being an athlete and two due to the fear that my results won’t fix the problem. So I did a lot of extensive research online looking mostly through photo galleries and online results, reviews on Reddit everything that I could look under that I felt was a not biased opinion. To be completely honest, I had seen Dr. Barrett social media initially, but I have been worn to stay away from social media influencer adjacent plastic surgeons so initially even though his results looked great I skipped over him as an option. It wasn’t until I continuously saw his name on Reddit, as well as on my TikTok feed of videos of women that have had a breast augmentation in unsponsored post that weren’t related to him, and I only found out through the comments where they got their breast augmentation that I decided that I would look into him. I ultimately decided to book with him, even though his consolation fee was on the bit more expensive side compared to what I had seen in other surgeons. However, I am beyond grateful that I did. We had a zoom meeting because I wasn’t based in LA, but not only did he give me extremely helpful advice. He also was able to talk through all my worries in a logical matter, which is exactly what I wanted to hear. I did not want a surgeon that was just gonna tell me what I wanted to hear in hopes to Persuade me to book through them. However, Dr. Barrett had a plan on how they were going to address the central cleavage aspect as well as the tubular shape. On top of that, he also assured me that he had dealt with other athletes that were able to return back to their sport. I booked with him a week later, again office did not pressure me to book right away with any kind of incentive or fear mongering that I had felt from other plastic surgeons. We were able to find a time that worked perfectly within my schedule. I do think that if you have a very specific date in mind that you need the surgery to happen depending on whether it’s a break of work or school, it’s good to have a consult with him a few months before that date since his schedule does fill up. However, I had my consultation with him in October and was able to get my perfect January date. The day of surgery I drove out to LA with my mom and I met Dr. Barrett in person for the first time. He gave me a hug he did all of the markings. We went over my design pictures because he does what he called on the table sizing. Which is essentially were you discussed your aesthetic goals and roughly what cup size you would like to get to and he then matches implants in your body while you’re on the table that meet that goal. He estimated that I would end up with a round either 325 cc to 375 depending. Which is not that much of a difference I learned in terms of cc it was something like 2 tablespoons…. I think. Since I had a bit of asymmetry I ended up with 330 cc in my right breast and 350 cc in my left breast. When I woke up from surgery, other than being tired and a bit confused, I wasn’t in that much pain. To be honest pain wasn’t much of a concern for me, being an athlete, my whole life I’ve been through a rough share of injuries and I wouldn’t even compare a breast augmentation to any of them pain wise. I chose not to take any of the heavy narcotics and just took extra strength Tylenol for the first week. It honestly just felt like pressure and it was a bit hard to do things on my own until week two, such as shower and all of those activities that require your arms. Just like I had ride online it’s definitely a healing process and I cannot say that I wasn’t nervous for those first six weeks to pass because the term Franken-boob was definitely something I related to in the beginning! But that’s normal, especially because Dr. Barrett does dual pain which from what I had googled and read on other people take a little bit longer for them to settle. Or what people call the fluff and drop. I also was nervous because I got two different size implants. They dropped at different rates and they were a little bit uneven until I hit week seven and then that’s when I started to notice that they were looking incredible. I’m officially at week nine now which is where I’ve been told they’re going to continue to improve all the way up until month six however they look pretty close to what your end result will look like at week nine. And I can say without a doubt that I am so beyond grateful I chose Dr. Barrett as my surgeon. I have never felt more confident in my body my boobs look incredible everyone that knows I’ve had a boob job, all of my teammates, and my friends are starstruck with my results. I was just hoping for improvement because of where I started at, was so bad in my opinion. But I honestly have no idea how he managed to make my results look so perfect. I didn’t want to end up with huge breasts. I just wanted to have a beautiful shape and I have no idea how he managed to do that because I look at my aesthetic gold photos I brought in and he did above and beyond those. I had always struggled with wearing bikinis, but now I look honestly insane, wearing that stuff in the best way. He specializes in going through the nipple and the one main thing. I was also worried about was the scarring. I did not want to do the under boob incision because I felt like people can just always see it when you are wearing certain bikinis or when you don’t have a shirt on. A few other doctors I spoke to tried to persuade me to do the under boob incision and I’m so glad that I ended up not letting them push me towards that direction. I went to Dr. Barrett instead because he did the aerial incision for me and I stopped being able to see my scars at six weeks. They blend perfectly in and I’m definitely not the type that just doesn’t scar, so I have no idea how he was able to do that. But if I didn’t tell people, I had a breast augmentation, you would not be able to find any scars to prove that I did. I genuinely cried on the phone to the nurses the other day just thanking them over and over because Dr. Barrett genuinely pulled off a miracle for me. I’m not someone that writes reviews often, however, I genuinely wanted to get on this website on my own accord so that someone searching for a surgeon chooses Dr. Barrett because I want everyone that feels like I did about their body to feel so amazing after getting of surgery like I do now. Dr. Barrett gets the biggest thank you from me and I hope he knows how genuinely appreciative I am because he changed my life. So again cannot recommend Dr. Barrett more. I’m not sure how this website works specifically if there’s any type of replies, though I’m happy to answer any questions! Big thank you to Barrett plastic surgery! You guys have changed my life!!

It took for me over 5 years to find the right Surgent. I have gone to countless consultations, hours of research online and every doctor said that I need ANCHOR scar in order to do my size reduction (I was size G and now I am C-D). Yikes! I almost went Mexico to save a buck! Almost did the procedure in Costa Rica, and again in Oregon! I decided to book a virtual consultation thinking I would never make it to Beverly Hills. When I awoke I was beaming with delight as my belly was gone and I had an adorable new belly button! The transition to my transportation was seamless and discreet. The next 5 days I recovered until my post opp visit a few miles away. I was diligent with thorough instructions and a medical team just a phone call away. I will say those few days were rough! As much as one can prepare and advise, the nerves reattaching was excruciating but the drains were easily navigated. Upon my post opp Dr. Barrett and his team were hands on examining, reiterating, and I left his gorgeous office feeling supported and thrilled!
