Is this normal? Or could my doctor have messed up?

I have a total of 45 trays. I've been Googling and it seems to be 2 weeks per tray. My doctor told me to change mine every week

Hi Lauren.&nbsp; I I understand you lost your aligners on the 2nd day of wearing them. &nbsp;&nbsp; You should go back to wearing the previous set and let your doctor know. Do i put in the previous week's trays or do i move onto the next set? Which is more effective?

I lost my 3rd tray of Invisalign on day 2 of wearing them and can't get in touch with my doctor.

Indeed these cases are difficult, but from the photos you posted, I think there is room for improvement.&nbsp; Often Zirconia is too opaque, and metal is gray.&nbsp; There are other material options that provide better esthetics&nbsp;on anterior teeth.

Since 12/2013, the dentist has tried porcelain crown over zicronia base (with a metal abutment) screwed on the implant. But result was too opaque and the color was not right. Then he tried a metal ceramic crown (to be glued to the metal abutment). Dentist is now pleased to have captured the hue. At direct light it looks ok, but otherwise it stands out as a very gray unnatural tooth. Every crown was remade at least 2-3 times. I'm getting desperate. Should I change dentist?&nbsp;

Check with your dentist, but you look like a great candidate for braces, or Invisalign. Either one would straighten your teeth and give you a beautiful smile.

Hi I was wondering what could be done to make my two front teeth not stick out so much and be aligned with the rest of my teeth. And what other things could be done to just make my smile better?

It is possible and does make sense.&nbsp; But first, are there signs of wear or breakage on the lower teeth.&nbsp; If there are you may need to crown them.&nbsp; If there are no signs of wear or breakage than probably you can leave them.&nbsp; It is common to have porcelain on one arch and natural teeth on the other without any problems.

I have a porcelain bridge upper that involves several teeth.My dentist is recommending crowning all my lowers because he thinks the porcelain will break down my natural lower teeth.Does this make sense?

Whitening toothpaste usually just has abrasives that may scratch the teeth and make them even more susceptible to staining.&nbsp; You are much better off using some whitening strips and a mild toothpaste.&nbsp;

Hello, I had my teeth scaled and cleaned during a general check up about 1 month ago. My teeth are otherwise white (ish) and in good health. However since having them cleaned, little brown stains are on my front lower teeth. I have the occasional cigarette and soft drink, but don't understand why the stains appeared after having them clean when my lifestyle has not changed prior to this. How can I remove stains on teeth? (is there an affordable way) Will whitening tooth paste help?

My Front Teeths Have Gap Between Them and They Are Also Coming Out, Can I Use Invisalign for Both of These Problems?

Sometimes all trays are given to the patient at the same time, but usually the patient should expect to get several trays at one time, and return to the doctor for more when those run out.&nbsp;

Do You Get All the Trays Required for an Invisalign Treatment at Once or Do You Have to Come Back Each Time for the Next Tray?

While it is true that the integrity of the crown wont be compromised, it sure looks bad doesn’t it?

	 
	You could ask why the crown needed to be ground down so much to begin with? Was it cemented properly to begin with?&nbsp; Did the dentist fail to properly prepare the tooth before the impression was taken?&nbsp;

	 
	Another thing to ask is why is the dental assistant drilling down the crowns?

In the process of trying to get a new crown to feel better, the dental assistant ground down the very center of my crown so that the metal beneath the porcelain is now exposed. She says that it will not compromise the integrity of the crown or make it not last as long, or be more prone to need constant repairs, can this be true?

Root canal procedures are&nbsp;done through a zirconia crown usually without any complications.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	Sometimes the crown might de-bond or fracture, but it doesn't happen often, and if it does you will need a new crown.

	&nbsp;

	After the root canal is completed, make sure it is sealed up properly.

I have recently gotten 3 zirconia crowns and have a feeling that I am going to need a root canal in one of the teeth. Is it possible to get a root canal on a tooth with a zirconia crown with out having to replace the crown and if so does this compromise the structure of the crown. Also if the crown needs to be removed is it easy to remove a zirconia crown? Thank You!
