Although you would likely do well with your increased activity at two weeks out from the date of your surgery, best advise is to wait another two weeks. In allowing more elimination of swelling and settling of you nose in waiting longer, you lessen the potential endangerment to your results.

I just had rhino overseas and im 2 weeks post op. did not have any bones broken. had silicon added to my nose bridge to define and raise and cartilage from my ear to define the tip. My friend asked me to check out his bjj school and come in for a trial lesson. I really want to try out the school since I am overseas and want to take advantage of the experience. The class will be an hour and a half long. Will I be able to participate and what are the consequences? How much impact can my nose take?

Can I Resume Activity Two Weeks Post Op Rhino?

In a post rhinoplasty after two months, there should be little complications other than potential infection at the removal site. Many surgeons use sutures within the nose that biodegrade within a short time from completion of tbe proceedure. If you are experiencing continuing pain,redness, or swelling contact your surgeon and if other sutures within the nose present get the surgeon to remove them.

Now, after sleeping on it, it's tender, but not shape is lost. It's definitely tender to the touch/eye, though, &amp; a little brown on the bottom. I've applied icing, am taping, &amp; notified my surgeon. I can feel something in there (thought it was mucus--guessing it was the stitch.) Am I safe? It's still sore/throbbing a little. Can I apply arnica?
