Most likely the biggest issue for you will be taking narcotic pain medication after surgery which tends to make everybody constipated.It may be worthwhile to discuss it with your plastic surgeon.I suggest increasing dietary fiber with supplements like meta-Meusel or any other source of psyllium husk while taking narcotic pain medications.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
