This was my first time every having any kind of treatment/procedure. I chose to do botox to help lift my brow area because I have felt that I always have a tired look. I wanted my eyes to look bright eyed. Unfortunately, my results made my eyes appear worse than what I already looked. It seemed to have "settled" in the corners of my eyelids. I have to lift my skin in order to apply eye liner and mascara. Live and learn. At least it's only temporary. But no more botox for me.

Where did they inject you?

My injections were in the glabellar area. So one injection in between the brows, one each side the beginning of the brows and one each side about the middle of the brow

From what I have read and had done the injection site in the middle brow is what made your lids heavy. I only had it inbetween the brows and results were great. Sorry that happened to you

Thank you. I was a little taken back when I went back to see the Dr. And he said that when you're trying to get rid of "11's" in between the eyebrows, this sometimes happens. Funny thing is at my initial appt for the treatment I never once said a thing about my "11's". What I said was I felt as if my brows were falling and that I always look tired. I just don't think he listened to me. And when he made mention of that at my last appt., I interrupted him and told him that was not at all why I opted for the treatment.

Maybe I'll try someone else. I'm not sure. Kinda scared me away from it.

Thank you for sharing your experience.

How much Botox did you get?

September 27, 2015
It was only a very small syringe amount. I can not remember what he said.

Technique is key. Do not give up. I have the same issue. I finally found a dr who's technique was totally different than the 15 previous times I'd been injected at many other clinics. I told him I didn't care if he made me look like the Joker (I wanted them raised! ) he shot me up in a different patten on my forehead and after 5 days I looked 15 years younger. Bright eyed and alert.

And that's what I wanted! I specifically told the Dr. That I wanted my eyes to look bright and awake. Of course I'm leary now, so I'll see what I think in a few months. Thank you for sharing your experience! I was feeling like it was me....just my luck!

Pamela, where did you go?

His name is dr Praetzel in hot springs AR. I had 32 units. He stated at the hairline of my right side and injected left to right across my forehead in rows! He did the angry lines between the eyes and crows feet. In the 40 times or so that I've had it done this was the most remarkable result. He is a maxillofacial reconstructive Dental surgeon as well.

Yours did exactly what mine did when a surgeon in little rock injected me. He went right above my brows and between my eyes. WORST RESULT I ever ha . And it was more expensive! Please don't give up but definitely go consult with a different clinic and talk tell them. Ask if they use that same technique. If so move in to the next one. Consults are free
