I recently visited the practice of Dr Oppenheimer and was seen by PA Benson. I originally scheduled the appt for botox of the brow furrow and to discuss using filler to correct smile lines or a deepening tear trough dark circles/hollowness. The botox results are fantastic, nearly pain free. Mr Benson spoke with me at length about which area could be treated with filler to make the most impact. He took his time, one on one with me and helped me realize that the tear trough areas being treated would be the best area to focus on. I appreciated greatly that he took the time to help me decide and it was one of the best decisions I've made. I've wanted to correct the hollowness under my eyes for some time, ever since I learned it was possible. Each year the darkness and indentation under my eyes has gotten worse and worse. All the expensive concealor from Sephora could no longer mask it. Mr Benson has a very lengthy experience with fillers and it is absolutely evident in the results. The decision to have cosmetic treatments is very personal, during the consult I felt PA Benson was personally invested in me acheiving my desired results. I never felt pressured but his extensive knowledge helped guide me to the right decision for me. Being so comfortable helped immensly as I dont have the highest threshold for pain, so coupled with his injecting skills, nothing was rated past mild discomfort. He used the last portion of filler to give volume to my upper lip (and he subsequently corrected assymetry from my previous lip injection!) (Also as a side note, when I previously had my lips done they swelled up like i had been hit with a shovel.... for days. This time, with this PA Benson, there was barely any additional swelling at all, again not all injectors are created equal). Back to my eyes. I wish I had done this sooner. I feel it took 10 years off my eyes. I am 34 and look in the mirror and at pictures and it feels like I am looking at my eyes at 25, before i even had a thought to use concealer. Ive gotten a few random comments, since having the filler, on looking younger than I am. I do not look eternally tired and worn out all the time. I dont have to use 10 filters to "create" a good photo. And Ive only used concealor once since the injections. So like I said, I wish I had opted to do this sooner but I am so thankful to have found a practitioner to return to for all my needs. As for Dr Oppenheimer, he introduced himself while in the lobby. What a warm and endearing person. I follow him on Instagram and Snapchat, when the time comes for new breasts, I am scheduling a consult with him.
